Do second chances come around to too stubborn people?

Hi this would be my first time here and I've asked everyone I know so maybe it's time to ask someone I don't know so here it goes there is this guy we were friends for a while but around sept. things changed and I'm almost positive there was more than a friendship there but his actions and words did not match and I've never been one to throw myself out of my comfort zone without knowing that I will be able to go back in when I want and unharmed anyway I think he just got tired of waiting for me to react to his signs so he told me about this other girl he wanted to start talking to[keep in my we were friends before anything else].

It was almost like he was trying to push me into telling him that I liked him back instead though I just excepted that we weren't meant to be anything other than friends so I swallowed the lump in my throat and told him he should go with her if that was how he felt and he did !so for monthes I complained only to those close to me about how much I hated the situation and in this time I spent complaining me and him seemed to grow further apart which I saw happening but thought could be fixed with a couple of words

Now we no longer talk those couple of words were never said because I'm very stubborn and full of pride and so is he therefore things just kept getting worse. I wouldn't have a problem though if both of us didn't seem so unhappy he seems unhappy with his girlfriend and the fact that I appear to be moving on and I know I'm unhappy that the same girl is still in the picture I stated before we are both to stubborn to say anything he doesn't want to look weak [ I haven't exactly been the nicest person to him and I pushed him away] because he is the male and he is suppose to be strong and all that bull and I just won't bend to the point where I may even come across as a meany

So my question to you people is how do I get him back without it looking to obvious that I'm trying to get him back?

My advice is to let them be. Do not interfere with their relationship. If you do and you get your wish things between you two will PROBABLY not work out. You had your chance to tell him how you felt.

IF THEY DO break up. Give him some time, but of course be there to support him.

Until then be the friend you once were.

understandable and that I have I didn't interfere with them yet he is unhappy I didn't dislike that girl or anything as a matter of fact I was more than nice to her yet he wanted to have his cake and eat it too he wanted us the share our special bond which included long hugs and I love yous yet he wanted to date her which I think up until this day was just to make me realize there were other females other than me either that or he felt I wasn't feeling the same we and it wasn't that I'm thinking maybe we just had a misunderstanding and need to have a talk but since we are both to stubborn to say anything words won't get said and things we grow worse
