Hello everyone!

It's my first time to join this kind of forum. I hope you can help me. I really need your advice.....

I have a friend of mine who is 10 years older than me. At first we are not that close but when we started texting each other and meet up that's the time we became close and be friends. We really enjoy each other company. My friend is engaged already and i have a boyfriend. We know that we have partners. We texting each other, talk over the phone and we met 5 times. My only problem is i felt something to this guy. I'm always thinking of him. I know this is wrong because i have boyfriend and we're turning 4 years this year. I really felt bad of myself because i can't get over my feelings to my friend. Well, my friend didn't know what i really feel for him. I really hate myself because i'm inlove with him!!! what will i do to forget everything i felt to my friend? please help me.

Um... stop hanging out with each other. Don't have long conversations. You haven't done anything yet so no need to cut all contact. I lost my friend of 13 years because we couldn't stop emotinally. I wish I hadn't every day since it ended. I wish I had chosen friendship over pleasure. If you are willing to lose him, continue. If you care and want him in your life until you're old and gray stop it before it happens. Best of luck to you.

We don't communicate at all. He ended the relationship and asked me not to contact him. It's been hard but you have to take control of your emotions now. It's harder and worse later on down the line. We have known each other for a long time and it's hurtful to know that someone who's been a lover but most importantly a friend, is no more. So don't go there, if you can help it. Like I said I wish he was still a friend. So if you treasure the friendship more don't risk it all and throw that friendship away.
