WiselyNaive
what do you think it meas when your ex deactivates and deletes their social network profiles.....its been a week or 2 since he has done so and im pretty sure i wasnt blocked...the 2 profiles he had have been deactivated and deleted...its been 5 weeks since weve talked...he broke up with me over virtually nothing...and last thing i told him was never message me again..since then i havent spoken a word of him, at first i was like 90% sure him deleting his accounts was a reaction to me as more time passes i dont know...i deleted my fb account for 2 months over a previous relationship because i wanted them to "miss" me, safe to say it never worked...that relationship was never salvaged..lol...i wonder if he could be doing the same thing or if this is his method of moving on...he really hurt me...and became a total new person post breakup..he was doing things to intentionally hurt me...he had been saying things on his profile knowing id see them and after i while i stopped looking i couldnt take it anymore...could he have realized i stopped watching his show? and given up?....i mean thanks to him ive been able to keep strict nc...but i jus wonder...he is a very calculating guy..in hindsight i began to notice all the "game" n tricks he used to get me..but i stil dont believe it was all game..im sure he developed feelings & is just being an ass...his reasons for removing them could have nothing to do with me..heck he could hve a new girl or deleted it over a different girl all together...just wondering what u guys think..if uve ever deleted ur account or were in my shoes?... ilovedhim
I deleted and blocked my ex from my facebook. I don't want to know anything about his life, who he's seeing, nothing. All this isn't important. What matters is that you stop obsessing and start healing. The only way to do that is through no contact. Don't worry about what he's doing and whhy it will drive you nuts. Best to you.
Moutonrose
I have deleted my facebook account last week....I know my ex blocked me but all his little buddies didnt...and this is how I obssesvly followed him whitout even trying...everytime they would say''hey party tonigth'' on there wall I knew he would be there....anything would tell me he was somewhere....I saw it was getting me crazy so I deleted it... I dont want to know what he is doing or screwing....I just want to try and live a normal life...you shouldnt try and figure out what he is doing eatheir...I honestly find that facebook even though very usefull can be very viscious!!! and people become viscious on there! take some time off it and show him you wont let him hurt you anymore! loverboy1984
I deleted me ex the she messaged my sister saying she was hurt that I did that but understands. She still talks to my sister on FB. I didnt delete her because I was angry but rather to give her privacy and make it easier for myself to heal. I deactivated my FB to study and maybe one day when we are both ready I will accept to add her. But there is no reason for me to be a friend with an EX.
Rosa Tamora
i deleted my ex on FB last week. It was the right thing to do. Why would you want to continuen seeing his picture pop up on the friend list. And then click on it and mourn the loss and feel awful and even worse if he starts posting pics of him and some new girls? Just delete him. Who the heck plays mind games and post things knowing you'd see them, if this is his intention? Even if it's not, you are picking a scab everytime you see his stupid posts! You know what mom says about picking that scab? Stop picking it, because it will bleed! Delete, delete and delete.
Fufu
I deleted and blocked him, I have completely 0 information about him. Though I do know my friends still have him on their facebooks but my friends are amazing people of not telling him anything about him.
betterdeal
It means you're spending too much of your energy trying to stay in contact with him. Move on, enjoy your life and leave the past where it belongs - behind you.
swfc_77
i deleted my facebook about 12 months ago i first went on it after my mates were saying i should get on there, everyone is on there. so i joined it and got bored of it pretty quickly, and found myself going on there to look at what other people were doing and to let people know what i was up to. i deleted it straight after i broke up with my ex, the first time 12 months ago and never could be bothered with it anymore. it doesn't help to have facebook if you have broken up with someone. my views on facebook are my own and my opinion is that the site is a complete waste of time 99% of people on there use it to lie to themselves and to others, people use facebook to potray themself to the world how they want to be seen. the fact that people can sit there for hours and hours on end just browsing utter garbage makes me laugh. its not reality, the whole basis of the site is what you choose to tell people. the whole site reminds me of Walter Mitty (someone who poses as something the are not or never were as to the original post, i feel 100x better since getting rid of facebook ignorence is bliss and all that. i find going out for a beer and seeing friends face-to-face is more respectful/rewarding than a few words over a web-site. facebook will go 1 of 2 ways it will either die out and become yesterdays news, a fad so to say or continue to grow and engulf more people into the fantasy world it offers i hope its the former to be fair.
