If hes avoiding adding you because hes dating other women that would be one thing. I dont add anyone I date until I know Im completely serious about them, and that takes months sometimes. Reason is because women get clingy on fb. I dont write on my wall at all, and neither does anyone else. If he added you, you might write things that imply youre his gf, then people start getting nosy and asking him questions about you that he's going to have to either answer, or tell them to mind their business. Then you will bug him to make a relationship status, then you will make him add your name to the status. If hes a private person, he wont want to tell the world like that until he's completely serious. Because once you add a relationship status, its like a big announcement. "IM IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH NICOLE M" Then you break up, and he goes to single again, here comes all the questions and jokes. "oh, sorry it didnt work out" "What happened she seemed so nice?" "Did the find out about your wife and family in canada?" "Did she find out about the other three girls?" If he knows whats good for him, he'll keep deflecting or just tell you straight up to stop nagging him about it. Link to post Share on other sites
Eeyore79 Posted May 5, 2011 Share Posted May 5, 2011 I can see the reasons why a person might not want to add someone they're dating, but I still stand by what I said. Until you verify that the person in question is single on Facebook, it's perfectly possible that they might be in a relationship and hiding it from you.
