RECOMMENDED: The Manual: What Women Want and How to Give It to Them

Recommended Posts

This is a shameless plug for W. Anton’s book “The Manual: What Women Want and How to Give It to Them” because it was the book that taught me to be shameless enough to start getting girls just a few months back and it deserves some praise. I accidently found it on Amazon.com while looking for the movie “What Women Want” with Mel Gibson. (Don’t ask me why!) Anyway, it turned out to be THE best book that I have ever read on the subject of seduction, but also one of those rare books that really made a big impact in my life (like “Atlas Shrugged”). I whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who can identify with me as it truly changed my life for the better and I wish that someone would have done the same thing for me long ago. Here is the long-winded explanation why:

I’ve been part of the seduction community for many years, including lurking on boards like this one for a long while without posting anything myself. I love to learn new things and have probably read 90% of all the “dating” books out there, but like so many others I kept looking for the Holy Grail without ever finding it. Some of the books that I read were a lot better than the others but all of them left me with unanswered questions and a higher craving to find out more instead of going out and use the stuff. And when I did go out and use things, I often felt like a silly robot pretending to be someone that I really wasn’t. This book was, however, an exception. I could tell that it was different right away, and by the time I had finished it I knew that I had stumbled upon a gold mine! In fact, two weeks after finishing it I decided to throw away all the previous seduction books, CDs and DVDs. I’d been keeping them all in a box in my closet and literally took the box out to the dumpster, despite the (sad) fact that I had spent a fortune on them altogether.

Since then I haven’t been on any of the boards either and this will not only be my first, but also my last, post. Why? Because I have much better things to do. I finally got a great girlfriend after having dated a bunch and found one that was (very close!) to being perfect. That was all I ever wanted to be honest and the reason why I started studying all of this years ago. Even if I lose her one day, now I know exactly what I need to do (and how little that is!) to find a new one. Getting girls are easy, so life is good!

Ok, back to the book. There are several things that make it different, better, and simply “click” with me. First of all, it is very comprehensive. It’s almost 350 pages and covers everything worth covering, both “inner” and “outer game”. Although W. Anton (the author) doesn’t use any of those terms, and generally avoids anything that makes dating seem more serious than it really is. (There is no mention of “wingmen”, “Crash And Burn”, or “Targets” for instance, which I think that the entire community could learn a great deal from instead of STILL putting women on a pedestal while thinking they are not!) Second, it’s very well structured and organized, starting off with high-level concepts (like mindset), moving on to specific behavior (how to act, walk, and talk basically), and finally putting it all together into a step-by-step guide (the method) of what to do and in what order etc. Like I said, I’ve read a lot of these books but few of them are structured in this way making them both poor reads for newbies as well as poor reference material whenever you want to refresh your memory. Third, the book actually makes complete sense – from start to finish! This is something that matters a lot to me personally, and once again, something that many other seduction books lack. Even the ones that contain good advice are rarely able to put the concepts together or show you WHY you are supposed to be doing something.

I personally never like to do something without getting a good reason first, but the real advantage is that once you “GET IT” you are much better at handling unexpected situations – and if you’ve ever approached women or gone on dates you know how useful that skill is! In this regard this book goes way beyond “teaching guys how to fish” and plays in a league of its own. (It is true that teaching a man to fish feeds him for a lifetime, but if you tell him why he needs to be fishing in the first place, then he’ll also be able to feed himself in areas without water - if that makes any sense... It’s a bit of a mind-bender I know, and I’m not as good at explaining it as the book does.)

The book starts off by explaining the very basics of natural attraction, including what women want, before breaking it down further to what that means a man must do in order to get a particular girl. The actual seduction method is based around 3 keys: confidence, charm, and taking responsibility. They are explained in great detail, including pointing out the difference of what most men THINK they entail with what they really are about. For example, how to be confident when you feel differently on the inside, and how to be charming and making women smile instead of trying to be funny around them. I thought that I knew a lot of this stuff, but I was proved wrong fair and square.

Every single chapter taught me something profound, either of an idea that I had never heard before (but made more sense nevertheless!) or made things much more clear. By the time I put the book down, I really felt like a new person and my results with women skyrocketed in the days and weeks that followed! So much that I threw away products that I spent hundreds of dollars for as I felt that they had become worthless. This book is worth much more than that, but only costs 20 bucks so I wish that someone had recommended it to me long ago. Not because it would have saved me a lot of money, but because it would have saved me so much headache, heartache, and time.

Life is short!
