Here's the back story if interested. http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t275147/ After being broken up for about 2 weeks we met to settle the apartment we had lived in and just talk. Originally she mentioned NC for about a month, but when we talked she said maybe we should "check on each other once a week" by telephone. I suggested maybe just written letters via mail which she liked and agreed to. It's been about two weeks since that day and we haven't exchanged addresses. The NC has broken once this past Saturday went I sent her a single text and vice versa just expressing that we had been in each other thoughts. At some point I had just decided that aside from the text there would be complete NC for a few reasons. I figured that the more uninterrupted time we had the better it would be for us emotionally. I also felt like i'd like to be able to present a changed me even if the changes had been minute (since i've been working on myself quite a bit in a short time). Last I figured absence makes the heart grow fonder. I never told her my goal after talking to her was complete NC. She hasn't initiated contact with me at all, yet I wonder if my unspoken decision is fair to her and if i'm attempting NC in the wrong spirit. Lord knows that I would at least like to have her know she's cared for and in my thoughts again even if just by text. On a side note I noticed that since we last met she's signed in the gmail talk far more than i've even seen her since i've known her. I keep wondering if she's scanning for me or hoping that if nothing else that I just shoot her a message on there. Link to post Share on other sites
