It's called a job heather. A respectable job that earns a respectable wage. In my area it is minimum $20.00 an hour plus tips. I don't know how much for a salaried employee.

 

I just hope it's the biggest harassment case in the history of Hollywood.

She did threaten to go the media with this (how nice for her child) and I heard something about her suing him. Which I don't know why considering he's bought her a house, been paying for his child. Still don't think it'll be long before she goes on a talk show (haha Oprah? Dr Phil?) to tell her side of this.

Either way, they both now are suffering huge consquences and the kids all have to deal with the fallout.

Oprah taped her last show already. Plus Maria is a dear friend. Who's left... Many but the interview wouldn't be the same.

 

JJ3 I already talked about the fact we really don't know any. Just the affair and a child. Right now it's just all speculations for us.

 

I wonder how hard having a love child is? It's even more heart breaking in an affair. Now a innocent child has to suffer with the stigma of being call illegitimate. It's all just sad.

O/T a bit, but my I was just telling my BF this weekend that I picked the wrong career. I live in a high rise in NY and I am friends with two of the housekeepers in our building and they do VERY well here.

 

On topic, I do remember bits and pieces about Arnold being a bit of a womanizer or cheater, but I have never really paid a lot of attention to him or found him that attractive. I kind of remember when he was running for Gov he had to apologize publicly to a woman he was accused of doing something to, but I don't remember the whole story.

 

TMZ just posted pics of him with the OW and the child without his face blurred. The boy is cute, he does look A LOT like Arnold, but what bothers me is the pic was taken in his house allegedly. That definitely takes it to a new level. But I am disgusted that this woman is subjecting her son to this and that his face is no longer being blurred. I don't know enough to make accusations, but it seems to me like she is using the childfor publicity and to make money which is repulsive in my eyes. But I could be wrong, maybe someone else is leaking the pics.

TMZ is responsible for blurring or not blurring pictures, so their big bosses made the decision on this.

We can't find any teenage pictures. All we can see of those are the teeth. Its a good idea to hide his face but the curiosity is killing people.

I think its sad that this kid's life has been turned upside down right now in that everyone will be trying to get a pic of him. The poor kid must be scared to go to school and afraid of what his friends will think. I can't imagine feeling like that at such a young age... He probably isn't even able to understand the situation in its totality because of his age. Just sad sad sad all around.

If I piece together everything I have read correctly, Arnie was always a womanizer, at least a flirt and definitely a groper!

 

Maria, a devout Catholic as all Kennedy's are, has said, "yes, at times he has behaved badly."

 

But she forgave him. And, all of Hollywood has said they were wonderful and devoted parents, and that they loved and admired each other. Very respectful....at least in the home!

 

The maid claims now that they had unprotected sex in the home, but that she did NOT tell him her baby was his until he was a toddler, when there was no longer denying he was Arnold's clone!

 

IN YOUR HOUSE???? WHERE YOU RAISE YOUR CHILDREN AND SLEEP WITH YOUR CHILDREN???

 

Where your wife and the mother of your lovechild interact everyday? Where your children, your fOW and your lovechils grow up together?

 

Not even the priest could have kept me there. Or married to you, Arnie. Or prayed closed the whole in your children's fairytale wonderful childhood!

 

This betrayal is beyond the pale. He is done, and I do not mean the millions he may make on future films.

 

I cannot fathom what his children are going through right now. Perfect childhood......to this mess.

This situation is just so disturbing to me... I feel awful for everyone involved (except Arnold). Of course I feel terrible for Maria and Arnold's children - not sure how old they are, but I believe they are grown - at least over 18. They both expressed their hurt on Twitter yesterday. I cannot imagine how humiliated Maria must be. I would want to hide in my room and not leave for weeks.

 

And the child - I feel awful the news is showing his mother. Even though they are blurring the child's face, his friends will all know who he is now that they have released his mother's picture and name. I can't imagine how it must feel for that kid to walk into school and hear the terminator jokes and whatever else kids will put him through.

 

I feel bad for the OW too - having to keep silent all these years, though it seems she was probably paid for her silence.

 

I think this is such an example of how damaging Ddays can be, and how many people are affected.

 

Do you think America will forgive Arnold and he will be able to continue with some type of movie career or do you think this will be the end of his public life? I think he will still have a career, America seems to forgive and forget when people make public apologies. But then again Maria kind of is an American sweetheart, so I don't know if people will be as forgiving when/if she speaks openly about her hurt and the hurt of her children.

I think Arnie did the right thing by validating the child he had with OW.

 

My stepsister lived this. She is 56 now. My mother knew about the situation with my stepsister and made my stepdad validate her...I was 17 and she was 22 when this went down. It didn't take my mom long to put her foot down and demand this as they had only been married a year.

 

 

My stepdad had always paid c/s and I am not sure if he told his first W...it wouldn't matter though because his first W would have never accepted my stepsister. My stepdad and his first W had adopted a baby 5 yrs before that (stepsister #1), I heard a story that she had been abandoned and the mother just signed stepsister #1 over to them.

 

Stepsister #1 was not happy at all about me or the M between my mom and her dad and she was really not happy about stepsister #2.

 

After awhile, because of my mom, stepsister #1 really warmed up to me and her and I got really close (she has got a good heart), but now that both parents are gone she doesn't want to deal with stepsister #2 because she can be really onery (judgemental).

 

When my mom passed away, and this was REALLY messed up IMO as she could have used a bit more sensitivity as I had just lost my mom, although she went off on me out of the blue stating that she resented me and stepsister #1 (why me I don't know) because she was left out of the loop...that we got to be raised by my stepdad and she didn't...well I didn't come into the picture until a year before the truth was told to the entire family. She said if it weren't for my mom she would have never been known to the rest of the family.

 

Not being validated until she was a young adult did a number on her mind, so based on personal experience, this is the right thing to do.

 

I don't think he owes anyone but his kids anything. I think it is terrible that the media is so nosey and does it's best to put peoples personal business out there like that.

Just because a person is in the entertainment field, or holding a particular office, this doesn't give the media a right to your personal business. Ever.

 

 

When you use the media to highlight your personal business (weddings, pregnancy, births, whatever else) you certainly can't ask them to back out when you are doing dirt(I mean you can, but how stupid is that?) and expect them to do so. There are many celebrities who live their lives away from the limelight. They don't invite the press into their lives for any reason.

 

Add to the fact that "Stupinator" is in the political arena, you add to the heat. The political climate in the U.S. is one of "dig up enough dirt"(and I have seen your post in the political forums)to denigrate, subvert and sling enough mud to get the public's mind off the issues. Arnold was one of those. Is it the media's right....not in my mind. But is it going to happen....yes when you open your front door and say, "come on in, just don't film the dirt in the corners."

And there's more. Patty confided in a friend -- when Maria would leave the house in the morning, she would crawl into the marital bed and do the deed with Arnold. She once even bragged that she was more of a wife to Arnold than Maria because she was always there for him.

 

 

The stories are all the same just the characters change but everyone feels they are so special to the married man. It's sad.

True. That's why many affairs end in heartbreak here.

 

Sometimes when I hear OW talk about BS, there's an ugly theme of power/domination over BS. Not all OW, of course, but enough to make me scratch my head and wonder whether some affairs aren't so much about MM but about unconscious triangulation issues.

 

My friend talks about the BS in this way. It's hard enough for me to understand the obsession with MM (who is a jerk and doesn't pretend to care about her), but this competitive obsession with an oblivious BS is very strange. Maybe it's the insecurity of an affair -- or deep insecurity within -- that causes this.

TMZ? Really? Well theres a reputable piece of journalism if I ever saw one.

 

Its horrible that he is such a scumbag and horrible for Maria but Im still not convinced that this Patty person is a total scumbag. Its not looking good but we still dont really know and will never know for sure.

 

Not because she was the OW and I have some sort of blindsight where that is concerned but because Arnold and co will have teams of people managing the media circus leaking just the right information to just the right people. Its purchased publicity and we will never really know what is fact and what is fiction. Thats why his PR team earns the big bucks;)

 

One of them is going to be protrayed as the predator in this situation. If its the OW then he can recover from this because on a certain level a good proportion of the populatoins forgives "boys" for being boys. But women are not forgiven (as we see on these forums). If the OW is not vilianized it makes his reputation more difficult to recover.

 

None of it is about reality its about what works for the family. Of course none of it works for Maria and the children. I really feel for them.
