You nor I simply don't have enough information to put her down like that at this point in time. This was a man who had power and money and well it's it is a fact that it corrupts and we all know Arnold is corrupt since this ain't his first rodeo in regards to other women. (Remember the sexual harassment allegations?) So until we hear more about her......it's not fair to beat her down. With the additional information that has come out so far, it doesn't seem that this OW was a victim. Seems the ow and Arnie both have made victims out of Maria and ALL the kids. As heard here many times about the pain and devastation that a d day causes, it's more than likely multiplied greatly by having it be such a public event. Arnie is a asshat of the biggest degree and it boggles my mind that the ow stayed in that house and kept a relationship with Maria while hiding a secret of that nature. See people are even more disgusted by this because of the intrusion into maria's family life and home and knowing maria personally while screwing her husband but it is still the same act whether you know the wife or not. You are still totally intruding on the wifes life and family even if she is unknown to you. I can't even phantom the feeling of someone wearing my shoes! AGH! Or my clothers! NO CLASS! It doesn't surprise me... I don't get tired of saying it. Background has a lot to do with this behavior. In her eyes, this lady was living the "American Dream". She got lucky to land in the house of a celeb as a housekeeper, she took the opportunity and ran with it... Arnold was the idiot that now lost everything over a piece of a$$ (and not even a fine one at that!). What now? I guess is easier for other OW to program themselves with what you mentioned. It must make the fantasy easier to live, since it takes away the reality. Like a coping skill requirement. If the ow feels guilt, she probably minimizes, on some levels pretend they don't exist, some cases demonizes the wife because of what she has been spoon fed by mm. With all that said.......let's not forget that arnie victimizes women, he has a long history of it. His past transgressions were swept under the rug by his power and money. Hearing that she was going to go public with this, threatening Arnie, just shows that she did NOT have her sons best interest at heart. Knowing full well that the poor kid would lose his identity, lose his freedom and now be followed around by photographers, other media, let alone we all know how mean/cruel kids can be at school. I feel so bad for him. I certainly hope she doesn't paint herself as a victim. A 10 year affair is not a victim but a willing participant!! Behar mentioned that the OW sounded like she wanted to be Maria -- and what better way to be Maria than to sleep with Maria's husband? Marshall responded that the OW has the psychology of a thief. She wants the BS's husband, life, money, jewelry -- even marital bed in this instance! Bragging how much better she was to Arnie than Maria. People who conduct affairs within the marital home, allow the AP to become a part of the family and to invade the confines of the family.....are extremely angry people. They may do this for what they believe to be convenience in meeting, but it the roots are really embedded in anger and the need to totally humiliate and destroy the BS. Typically with a NPD personality, but I am sure it is possibly the case with other personalities as well. Mr. Messy did this. I also read that most animals don't mess in the place they sleep and live...they move outside a certain area to take care of their waste issues.
