Interesting. But if this is the case, then are we all just random events happening?...and if so, what is life really about? There must be more to it than that. It's in our nature to try and find patterns in things and attempt to interpret these patterns. True, things could just be random events, but by looking for meaning behind these events, we automatically create a pattern for ourselves and in doing so, put order to the events, thus giving them a reason for happening.

Life is not about anything. Life is completely random and chaotic. There really is not much more to it than that, unless we want to believe that there is. Most everyone wants to believe in something more than what is really going on.

Exactly as I said: There are no rules, no reasons for anything until we make them. I accept that nothing is supposed to make any sense. There are times when I feel that the laws we say govern us actually restrict us. Science as we know it is just our best attempt at making sense of life, our world, and our universe.
