There's no set time unfortunately, we're all different. A friend of mine had his heart broken after a 6 year relationship and he was on the emotional rollercoaster for 2 months and then he was fine. I'm on month 4 after I had my heart broken following a 7 and a half year relationship and I'm still a mess. We all cope differently. Just know this..... we will all get there. It maybe day by day for some people, week by week for others, or maybe even month by month, but eventually we'll get there. Link to post Share on other sites

Then, it was my first and I have to see her and her new bf at work, so that's hardly helping 16 days is nothing, Frank13. I know it may seem like a short time but I realized he isn't going to come back and begging for him to come back isn't going to help.
