How long do rebound usually relationships last?

I found out last night that my ex is seeing someone else now. I'm not sure if it's a rebound as we split about 10 months ago so she's had some time to get over it. Apparently she's been seeing him for about a month so would this be classed as a rebound or would this qualify as a "normal" relationship as enough time has gone by?

I also saw her for about 30 seconds last night as she was going out and she kind of just froze. I was nice and smiled and asked how she was doing but she didn't really react one way or the otherjust sort of half smiled and then went out by herself while her friend was speaking to a bouncer. Would this just be due to embarrassment/awkwardness about the new situation?

Wether her new relationship is a rebound or not it should no longer be of your concern. There are no formulas to how long they usually last or how long after a break up is a new relationship considered to be a rebound. Also some rebound relationships can turn into real relationships. They are usually started to fill a void, if that void is successfully filled it has become a real relationship.

The point is she has moved on and so should you.

Tough love, huh?!

Yea, true. I know I can't wait around waiting for a relationship to fail when they may live happily ever after. It's just hard to accept as when she was single I felt the door might have been slightly open, but now its been slammed shut. Just gonna find it hard to move on :(
