humbleone
Just a stupid question... why is looking not considered cheating?
wiseOLDman
If you're on a diet and you look at the chocolate cake, have you cheated on your diet? Humans are visual people. I often ask my wife to look at a guy and tell me if she thinks he's attractive. I'll ask her the same thing about women. If you're comfortable in your relationship, looking should not be an issue. Well, I normally do not touch people with my eyes when I look at them. This might be why looking is not considered cheating. I have to look to see where I am going, and attractive people on occasion get in my way.

I think that looking is not considered cheating most of the time, but there are a few exceptions. If I were alone in the apartment of a guy I'm attracted to, and who is attracted to me, and I got naked in front of him, I'd call it cheating. Even there if there would be no touching at all. If my boyfriend went to a strip club, it would bother and upset me, but I wouldn't call it cheating. When a girl in his fraternity gets all of her clothes off and hangs around naked for a couple of hours I call it cheating. If a friend of his worked in a strip club and he went to see her shows, I'd call it cheating because that would be a girl he hangs out with. I don't see porn as cheating, but I see a private webcam show as cheating. just personal opinions, of course.

Samson
Having recovered from WiseOld's Avitar, I have concluded that looking is not cheating. Looking while with your SO, might be stupid, but it isn't cheating.

Thinkalot
I look...I also point out cute girls on the beach to my guy....he thinks it's great! It doesn't bother me at all...we both look, admire...sometimes laugh, and move on. Sometimes a cute guy will walk past and he'll say to me "eyes off!"...just joking of course. It's sure ain't cheating in my book. Cheating starts with inappropriate phsycial contact...and perhaps even emotional intimacy. But that's a whole other subject!
gaia
and perhaps even emotional intimacy. AAARGH. Don't get that one going again, Thinkalot!!!
