How are you going to make the rest of this year Awesome?

Recommended Posts

So you've been dumped. I've been dumped. We've all been dumped. Our hearts feel like they are bleeding and on fire at the same time, we can't stop thinking about someone who isn't around anymore, and we're all stuck between 'I'd give a testicle/ovary to get him/her back' and 'I never want to see him/her again'. Great. June is coming up, and that means the year is half over. It started crappily, now how are we going to ensure that 2011 ends strongly for all of us?

I'm going to the Boulder Outdoor Survival School for 28 days and taking up skydiving when I get back. And going back to college. Again. What are your plans? Make some. Now! Let's cope goddammit!

Haha, funny stuff.

For the rest of 2011, I'm just going to be jealous of your 28 days at BOSS. Looks freakin awesome.

Well, one down. BOSS has straight worn me out, and I'm now in recovery mode (soaking my blistered feet every night in epson salts has helped quite a bit). Next resolution is to learn to kayak - anyone else have any awesome plans?

Congrats!

Let's see. By New Years I'm going to try and...

-Finish off the majority of my graduate degree, and pull awesome grades. No more time sink of a boyfriend, so no more excuses

-Swing dancing!

-Train for the Dirty Girl mud race and the Denver Rock 'n' Roll half marathon

-Re-pad my savings account

-Get over my shyness

-Start networking so that I can land a great job next year

By New Year? I will be submitting my art to a competition, done an independent study, and getting into a new professional organization! For sure!

I will have a new group of friends, and will be going to concerts, exhibits, and plays. I will live the way I wanted, and be the person that spend time to get into all that art stuffs, other than partying with a bunch of Chinese people who can barely speak English for my ex!

I am just gonna be the person I wanted to be.

Treble Clef

I like your bleeding/burning analogy hahaha!

My summer has been learning how to cook. Just went to a potluck party with some Singaporean friends. I'm proud of myself cos the chicken wings/drumlets I prepared were a hit :)

I'm doing summer classes, so I don't have as muuuuch time to feel depressed.

And this weekend a bunch of friends and I are going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter!

It's going to be August in a few weeks. And I really don't want to waste this summer away being miserable. I've decided to move back to Washington since my friends have convinced me it might be best.

So my plan is to literally START OVER. Work on my improving myself, my well-being, my health. All of it. I might see a therapist soon too, so I can deal with this a little better. I am going to fix all the things I didn't like about myself and be an independent person.

So end of this month, I'm going to live with a friend in Seattle, find a job, hang out with old friends and focus on being a more independent person.
