mindgames
I'm married, but think a friend of my hubby is trying to play mindgames with me. I'm still confused and don't know what I think or feel about this. I'm curious as to how do you know if someone is trying to make a move? He will invite me out, but then cancel on me. He'll continue to msg. me and flatter me (if I go out with my girls, he'll ask 'Are any of them as good looking as you?'). I confided in a close friend and was told that he is using typical pick-up artist moves of seduction (push-pull technique?) where you let a girl know how attracted you are to her, but then you keep her at arm's length...supposedly to build interest. What do y'all think?

xxoo
Here's a thought, go talk to your husband. Seriously! Who cares what his intentions are (to pick you up, or just flirt). You are crossing boundaries by engaging in these flirtations.
Entropy3000
He is trying to bed you. There is only one correct answer here. Tell your husband immediately. This thread sounds so familiar!
Arcturius
Sounds to me like he's trying to gauge both your level of interstate in him and your willingness to cheat on your husband. He's inviting you out to see if you'll accept but then thickening out for fear you'll tell. Asking about your friends attractiveness is a ploy to test your interest in him, by weighing your responses. Basically, yes this guy is willing to sleep with you, and is testing your boundaries to see if you're willing to sleep with him as well.

What do y'all think? What you should feel is disgust at what he's trying to do. Tell your husband. Don't go out with this man unless your husband is also coming along.
