i slept at my friends house and her brother and brother's gf were moaning in the room over the hall. if a couple did that wouldnt their kidz hear? also is it ok to have a vibrator if ur married?

Yes people still have sex after kids and yes you can have a vibe. They make ones that aren't too noisy.

 

We live near a busy street so that helps. So does turning on the music and locking the door.

And yes I use a vibrator. The noise wasn't the problem...my kid finding it and asking what it was was the problem :o.

I wasn't there. She found it and asked Hubby. I've no idea what he said. Probably something along that lines of "that's mommy's toy, you will have to ask her about it later"

 

If she asked me I would be honest. We have already started talking about sex and masturbation.

We have three children and yes we still enjoy sex. In fact, three times this past week. We wait until the kids are in bed, or very very early in the morning, before they wake up. We lock the door and hope for the best.

 

Kids are not going to be scarred if they hear a little noise. Good grief.

I'm going to hold onto this one for when I need it.

 

We have two kids, and we certainly still make love. It's harder to be spontaneous now, but if you're motivated you find the time, and fortunately kids are heavy sleepers.

 

When the little one is a couple years older, we're going to institute a few policies about "grown up time," too. Maybe a standardized movie time with his big sister one weekend morning, or something, when they can only come knock on our door if there's an emergency.

 

I overheard my parents doing it a few times when I was growing up, although they tried to be discreet. It was a little bit gross, but not really a big deal. Looking back on it I realize it was actually good for me to realize that my parents were still amorous and physical and adults with their own passions--not just automatons existing only to serve children and purchase household goods. :laugh:

 

Oh, and I do have a vibrator, for a little variety. My husband likes to use it WITH me.

LOL! My child would find the vibe even more interesting if I said that. I'd be asked to turn on the light saber on. :laugh:

 

The worst we've had to deal with is her walking in on us once, but it was really dark and she was fumbling with the light switch so she didn't see anything.

It's also sometimes exciting to HAVE to be quiet. Like being back in your parent's house and making out with your BF.

 

That being said, I have sometimes been VERY loud, but very few times when around other people. On one or two occasions, I was gently teased about it at breakfast (with some blushes and good laughs all around), and it served as a reminder that noises carry and that everything can be done in good taste.

 

So, if you DO hear someone being VERY loud, it is ok IMHO to gently point it out, as they may not have ever realized it.

 

PS. I do know a guy who had to confront a tenant over her noisy lovemaking, as other tenants had complained!

Aren't these questions she should be asking her mum?

 

I expect her mum still has sex (older people do) and as the OP wanders round the house stark naked wearing nothing but a flimsy shift I can't actually believe she is this naive....

There are plenty of ways to get around the noise issue....or to distract kids....etc...my H and I are just a couple weeks away from our 11y anniversary and we have two kids. We would not still be together if we didn't make love and make a little noise with eachother sometimes ;)

 

When the kids are outside playing I can always be a little louder...but there are pillows and waiting till they're asleep....etc. And toys aren't against the rules...just have to put them where the kids aren't going to go poking around all that much and have a ready made story on hand for if they ask.

My dad and mom arent together and my mom's boyfriend doesn't live with us :cool:

 

How does an older sibling get younger siblings? Certainly that stork story is outdated. ;)

 

my mom and dad got divorced so they do not do it , but my mom does it with a boyfriend but i think only at his house or they arent up to that yet.

I used to hear my mom all the time, I was just glad when she was with my stepdad because at least he was a good guy and he didn't hit on me when she wasn't around. I have custody of my little sister and I have sex with my boyfriend in our house, but we don't mess around if she's home and awake. She's a heavy sleeper, I don't think she's ever heard us. But I know for a fact she'll never hear the kind of crazy **** I used to hear at my mom's house, so if she hears a little happy sex now and then, I can tell you that's not the worst thing in the world.
