I pretty much still look like a teenager, especially in my face. Most people don't think I'm any older than 18 or 19. Some have even mistaken me for 15. If I were to lose a few lbs, I'd look exactly like those disney stars. That's what I find attractive. We like people that look like us and I resemble those disney stars. I have a very small frame and baby face. I also think the guys they date are adorable. I like guys that look like girls. the jonas brothers are adorable, if given the opportunity, I'd date probably the middle one...Justin Bieber is too young, but still adorable. He's also too short...

I like people with very very very YOUNG features. The guy I like doesn't look 22. He looks about 18 or younger. Most people, if kept on a healthy diet, wouldn't be much bigger than a disney star. America is the fattest country in the world and it's sickening. I just like people that take care of themselves and having little to no meat on your bones is what I consider healthy.

I'm totally capable of being 113lbs again. Maybe 120. I was that when I was 21 but gained more due to medications I was on. If I can get off this one med that slows my metabolism down, I could lose the extra 20lbs I need.

and they're not that much younger than me. That's who I relate to. I probably look the most like Kristen Stewart and she's 21, I'm 26...5 years is not that big of a difference. In 5 years Kristen Stewart isn't gonna look any different than she does now.

I just like healthy looking people and having fat on your bones isn't healthy to me.

I've been told I look like Avril lavigne, but then she dyed her hair. It's mostly just the hair. I wear it the same way she used to, flat, straight and all one length and the color (her natural color) is almost dead on to what her color is.

I'm also a musician and strived to be for a long time, so I look up to famous people a lot.

Hanson are the only stars that have a little bit more meat on them than all these stars I've mentioned, and that's about as big as I go. And they're not even big. They're just not 120lbs...

It's hard to find people who take that good care of themselves in the real world. It's like, if you're not on TV, it gives you an excuse to let yourself go. I'm as attractive as any of these stars on TV, and I want someone who is equally as attractive.

DreamerGirl, being too skinny is not healthy either. Believe it or not, your body actually requires fat to build muscle. So if you're the type that just has skin on your bones, I wouldn't be too judgmental. Too me, being under-weight (I learned the hard way) is just as unattractive as being over-weight. I prefer a man w/ a healthy frame, I don't dig the skeletons.

You could be 5lbs over-weight & not look fat. I've seen plenty of skinnies & have found that if you're a few lbs from your bodies desired weight, then you look too skinny. Of course, height plays a huge factor. I'm nearly '5 "9 & used to weigh 130lbs & that was just too skinny for me, I was so boney & had no muscle. Gaining 15lbs brought me to a healthy & desirable figure. Heck, I have abs now!

What is a Healthy Body Fat Percentage?

Since you are 26 your body fat percentage should be 21-33%. If it is below that then you are unhealthy. If you are within this range stop cutting calories and overexercising NOW.

If you don't already have one then get a scale which calculates body fat percentage as well. Your thinking is dangerously anorexic. You should consult a therapist immediately.

Actually, as a woman in your childbearing years, YES IT IS. The moment your body doesn't have enough fat for its liking, a lot of things start going wrong. You don't have to take our word for it... ask your doctor.

You sound like an attractive girl, so why all these hangups about your body weight? It honestly sounds dangerous to yourself... like you are well on your way to becoming anorexic.

Incidentally, the "guy you like" would be your "boyfriend" and not just the "guy you like" if you would stop second guessing your appearance and were a little more confident that you are the gorgeous woman that you really are.

For one thing your menstrual cycle becomes irregular. Become too thin and you won't have a period.

Because I am not my natural weight...at 21 I was 120lbs and that is the ideal weight I have always been. I got put on medication that slows your metabolism down and I gained weight. I am trying to get back down to what I have been since I was 14. I kept getting put on medication after medication that makes you gain weight and that is the only reason I did. Had I never been on that medication, I'd most likely still be 120lbs. That is my goal. I'm 5'6" and it's underweight for my height, but it's the only way I can have a completely flat stomach.

If i were anorexic, somebody would have caught it by now. I'm not anorexic. I just wish I could be.

What you forget is that as you age, your metabolism NATURALLY slows down.

Here you acknowledge that your target weight is technically underweight, but you put more importance on the fact that it's the only way you can have a completely flat stomach. Don't you see anything wrong with that thinking???

I would absolutely hate to be skinny; I find it unattractive in women. As for men, I'm not fussed about whether they're fat/thin/tall/short as men's physical bodies don't make much of a difference to me in terms of attractiveness.

Then why did I lose weight as I aged yet nothing much changed about my routine?

yeah...exactly...I can be 120lbs again easily if I just get on a healthy enough diet. It's not impossible for me. I'm extremely small built. I'm 5'6" and wear a size 6 shoe. My fingers go around my wrists all they way. My legs...well, I have chicken legs. really, the only thing I'm not okay with is my butt, stomach and arms. When I'm 120, those are perfectly fine looking. I just wanna lose the extra flab.

Most of those disney stars are 120lbs. That's how I'm built naturally. That's why I like them. We have a similar frame. Right now, I don't look like me. How 'bout everybody stop focusing on what's wrong with me after everything I post and accept the fact that I like what I like, huh?

You're just trying to start stuff.

Anorexia isn't a body type. Anorexia nervosa is a psychological disorder. When those who suffer from it become emaciated, bony, and others begin to notice the physical effects that's when it has gone too far and has become too late. It needed to be taken care of far sooner. The very slender physique of an anorexic is only a symptom of the underlying disease.

I have seen pics of you and you were thin enough. Unless one has a 3 pack of rolls on one's abdomen or one big baby bump that makes that person look perpetually pregnant no one should be losing weight.

No shiz? I don't have anorexia. I don't look anything like it. Even when i'm 120lbs, I don't look anorexic. I just look healthy. My mom thinks 120lbs is too thin, but my mom is kinda...well, she's not as small built as me.

I just like looking healthy and having a gut the size of texas on a small framed body, is not healthy looking.

Basically, I will never be fat. I'm tall and small built. Any ounce of fat on me looks horrible, which is why I'm trying my best to lose it. One, I need to be more active and exercise more instead of just focusing on diet, but who doesn't strive to look the best they can?

My body is not built big and small built people, any fat, looks like hell on them. I just want to lose the extra 20lbs I gained from that medication. And I am capable of losing it, without starving myself. It's just really hard to get back to that without exercising, but my metabolism is pretty fast.

How 'bout we stop knockin' the OP and get over the fact that when I'm healthy, I look like a disney star.

Don't be jealous.

At my fattest, I don't get above a size 9 in juniors. MAYBE an 11, but that's pushing it. I just am not a big person. Horizontal wise. Vertical, I'm pretty big for a girl. That's why the extra 20lbs looks so horrible on me and why I'm so obsessed with losing it.

And as a result of that, I like other, thin, people. This thread had no point, just stating what I like. 'Cause I was bored. No need to bash the OP and give her issues and problems she doesn't have.

Your body image issues mirror those of a coworker I am currently worried about. She's so cute which makes it sadder what she is doing to herself.

It is not meant as bashing but I'll drop it.

lol I don't have body image issues. I have, "I'm fat and lazy and need to exercise more" issues.

DreamerGirl, you're REALLY confusing me! "I'm 5'6"... That's short & your ideal weight is approximately between 117-154lbs. "How 'bout everybody stop focusing on what's wrong with me" Then what's the point of this thread? Everyone is giving you their honest opinion. Are you secretly seeking everyones approval, or are you just boasting at how small you are? "This thread had no point, just stating what I like. 'Cause I was bored. No need to bash the OP and give her issues and problems she doesn't have." Some might consider that trolling.

Because you started in-taking less calories than you were spending. That's the basic principle of weight loss :)

I did not say that you cannot lose weight as you age. I merely stated that as people age, it is normal for their metabolism to slow down exponentially and make it more difficult.

I lost 170 lbs between 25-27 when previously, at 20, I could not due to a thyroid disorder. It happens.

I dont' know where you read that ideal weight, but it is not accurate. 5'6" is like 130someting to 150somethign, not 117. 117 is way low for 5'6" and yes, if you're not going to say something nice (in other words, post something of approval) don't say anything at all.

So now you agree that 130 is a healthy weight? You contradict yourself too much. I'm not saying 117 is accurate (I used the term "approximately" meaning not 100% sure), I'm saying the ideal weight is between 117 & 150lbs. I don't know if you're telling me to be nice, but I never said anything rude.

It's healthy, but the only way I can look like I have no fat on me is to be under that. That's my goal.

You'll definitely need to keep track of your BMI so that you won't become under-weight.
