sandymouche Posted April 18, 2004 Share Posted April 18, 2004 Hi y'all! I'm 26 and in love with a 19 yr old guy, who also happens to be my best friends younger brother! I lived abroad for a couple of years, and when I came back I met him at my friends house. The attraction was instantaneous. He's very grown up for being 19, intelligent, funny, hot....everything I look for in a boyfriend. He's also really flirtacious with me... When I go out clubbing I regularly bump into him, and a year ago I finally gathered the courage to kiss him. We were both pretty drunk. It felt great, but he started avoiding me after that. I was heartbroken and felt like I had somehow scared him off. Last weekend (a year later) I bumped into him again at a club. He was really flirting with me (he told me he had saved a rose that I'd given him etc), but I was just friendly since I was there with a date. This time, HE kissed ME...I was really surprised (and ditched my date in cold blood). All my feelings for him came back, and we also hooked up the following night. Now the thing is I really like him, but don't know how to deal with the situation. Obviously he likes me too. I don't know whether he just thinks it's fun to make out with me, or if he would want to date me (but is too scared to make a move)?? He doesn't call, but is really glad when I call him. He can be very flirtacious, but only when he's had a few drinks. My friend (his older sister) tells me he wants an older girlfriend, and that she thinks he has a thing for me. However, I haven't told her about what's happened and neither has he. She'd probably be a bit freaked out. What do I do?? kimberlee Posted April 18, 2004 Share Posted April 18, 2004 Ask him, Call him up and talk to him, I know that it is not comfortable but then again just sitting there an thinking about it all the time must not be to comfortable either. Give him a call talk to him and just ask him what he thinks, also ask him wheat your best friend, his sister would think about the idea of the 2 of you dating, i mean it will not hurt anything and it might make things alot better between the 2 of you, I am 34 and my current b/f is 27. Good to know I'm not the only one in this situation... How does your boyfriend feel about dating an older and more experienced (?) woman? Any guys out there who'd care to share their stories?
