The confrontation?

Okay, do any of you have any stories of confronting your boyfriend regarding cheating? I just recently found out my boyfriend is planning a cheat, and also found out that the woman he is planning on doing this with - he slept with her while we were exclusive, but not living together yet (about a year ago). As he is a very good liar, it was important for me to catch him in the act, not just show him emails I saw, even though it doesn't matter to me as far as our relationship, because I can never trust this man. By the way, he is 40 and I am 38 so we are not kids, and we have been talking about engagement and marriage the last 6 months. We have been together for 2 years, living together for one. However, even though he has been talking about our future, I have felt (this year) that he wasn' all in, i.e. one foot in, one foot out. Before I knew what he was planning, I thought possibly it was just nerves about getting engaged, and it may well be, but it doesnt matter to me at this point.

 

So he was supposed to meet her this weekend, and chickened out, saying his work event (that is the lie he is telling me about why he will be gone for a night - I know its a lie, I checked it out), is this coming weekend. Do any of you have any stories of confronting your cheater with proof? Did they get angry and still blame you? I am prepared for the worst.

So, just tell him he's dumped. Who cares if he won't admit to planning to cheat? What difference does it make to you? You not going to stay with him in any case are you?
