kimmygurl1144
My boyfriend and i have been together for about a year. Well his ex-girlfriend and first love came back and told him she wanted him back. The have been broken up for about two years (he is 21 i'm 17) well she broke up with him and broke his heart. She has the one guy that she keeps going back to and they have been broken up for about 3 weeks. Geoff is my first love and i want to stay with him. We have been arguing alot lately, but we have always been an argumentative pair. We always get over it. Well now that she can back he isn't sure what he wants anymore. I have always been supportive and i try to be as good of a girlfriend as i can be. so last night we decided to break up. He is still going to prom with me in three weeks and i told him we would decide then if we were going to get back together. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how i could win him back. Or even if there is anything special i could do to prove to him that my love is real and she may hurt him again. Please anything would help right now.
morrigan
I hate to say this, but it's for the best at this time that you both have broken up. You love him a lot and you don't want to lose him, but you can't make or expect someone to reciprocate the same feelings. Also, you two have argued quite a lot in your relationship--a problem that will undoubtedly rear its head again, should you ever get back with you ex. His former girlfriend can't force him to come back to her--he's an adult, and if he isn't sure what he wants, then he is not fully committed to you. Until your ex sorts out his feelings and decides what he wants to do--which could be to get back with either you or his ex, or to not date either of you again-- you should move on with your life. Give him his space and don't contact him. Even if you don't get back with him, you will find someone else whom you don't have to win.
