anyone got some good tips to Relax and lower stress??

YOGA!

 

I know it sounds gay, but there's always lots of hot chicks in the classes! De-stress with nice scenery! My ex-wife really got me into it, and it's something I'm still involved it. Only, now I can go and not get yelled at for peeking at the spandex! :rolleyes:

search google or youtube for "relaxation response"

 

Takes 5 minutes twice daily, starts working immediately!!

 

valerian capsules....very relaxing natural remedy

camomile tea

relaxing music, take 15 minutes a day just to sit and enjoy some relaxing music.

 

Memories of being relaxed:

Remember times in your life that you have been happy and relaxed, allow yourself to see the images, hear the sounds and to feel the realaxation and peace again. 5 minutes twice a day is all you need!!

I find music pretty soothing - Noah and the Whale seem to be helping me realise that there's better out there.

Being outside and in the pool is really relaxing. Even more relaxing if the pool has some shade to it so you can get out of the sun if it gets to hot. Walking the beach any time of day bare feet when the sand feels good is also relaxing, helps me think.

Mindfulness meditation - It REALLY does work mate.

 

If you'd told me 6 months ago I'd be meditating for 30 minutes every evening, or 3-10 minutes when I feel the stress build I'd have laughed at you!! But now I can't imagine living without it.

 

Try YouTubeing it, or see if there are any local classes in your area - it'll be one of the best moves you'll ever make!
