sweetmind20 Posted April 19, 2004 Share Posted April 19, 2004 here is some interesting view points on men BY men: how many of you agree? 1) WORK TAKES PRECEDENCE OVER THE RELATIONSHIP (for a man, work is the number one priority. number two is his woman. a man is always going to commit to his career before committing to a woman. so a woman should never bother asking a man to choose between her and his career. his choice would clearly be his career. 2) HE'S THE STAR OF THE CAREER SHOW-LIKE IT OR NOT ( in a professional man's eyes, his career is more important. yes, it is even more important than your career. you could be president of the US, but in his mind, his job is more important than yours. 3) FOR MEN, THE WEDDING IS NOT IMPORTANT (men know that women go gaga over getting married. as far as the wedding is concerned, the wedding- and everything related to the wedding- is all for you. men find weddings-even their own- to be not that big of a deal. in fact, the wedding is about 10 percent as exciting to your man as it is to you. 4) SINGLE, COMMITTED, OR MARRIED- ALL MEN ARE PERVERTED (like it or not, your man is thinking about sex all the time, 24 hrs a day, seven days a week. in fact, the more committed a man is to a woman, the more he fantasizes about other women. guys are thinking about having sex with other women- be it a waitress, an actress, a random passerby- all the time. men will watch a woman walk by and stare and stare and think about sleeping with her- and her, and her. men are constantly fantasizing about lesbianism. they're thinking about sleeping with a variety of women. I really hope to get married one day, but while I'd love to actually get married, I hope I'll manage to make the wedding ceremony and the wedding party as quick as possible, and with fewer people possible. CurlyIam Posted April 19, 2004 Share Posted April 19, 2004 Only 2 relationships so far so: 1.My ex was not more dedicated to his work than he was to our relationship, but he would constantly constantly bring it up when we were together. So I kinda wished he would have stayed a few hours more hours there instead of bringing it home. My bf puts his work first, but we don't see each other often so I'm fine with it. 2. My ex thought the world of his work. I was a student (still am) so no matter what I did ... My bf is extatic about me so.... 3. I have no idea 4. He is hoping that my on the side business will be fulltime so he can quit his job and work with me. He is very much apart of our wedding planning and has some of his own ideas about the day. Sex..........yes on his mind 24/7 but I don't think he fantaises about other women unless it's Katherine Zeta jones. BTW...although men may have certain gender traits, they're still individual human beings with all the complexity and variety that is implied.
