Ayo
Sorry if wrong area, health is closest I got in regards to anything dental. Does anyone have a dental flipper here? Or anyone familiar with them? I was wondering if dental flippers stop the teeth from moving into the gap? (Long term use?) Thanks for your time. Also if your someone who has had a flipper for years and can confirm it, it'd be much help!
ephbulay123
Well, I don't have a flipper but my gf has. The use of flipper teeth is often considered a temporary solution until the person can afford a dental implant or bridge.
Crusoe
Had some teeth knocked out 15 years ago, had a flipper made up but rarely use it, it annoys me, no teeth have moved during that time.
oldguy
I do not know about long term use but I have heard they can help to keep teeth from shifting especially if it is used between teeth. I've always thought they where more cosmetic though. Call a dental office and ask them about them. A flipper is basically a partial plate with all the disadvantages of dentures I think. milkmaterial
ayo , you might wanna have your bridge done in another country. just look it up. my dentist friend told me in other countries the flipper and bridge costs vary very little (like 20 bucks difference)
