heartshaped Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 3 years. There were a lot of things wrong with that relationship and it ended for a lot of reasons, but you can chalk it all up to we were too young and inexperienced. We loved each other and thought that was enough. It wasn't.

It ended because,around half-way through, he developed a serious addiction to heroin, and I had to do the right thing and remove myself from the situation. I tried to stay but I became so miserable. My last relationship lasted about a 1 1/2, and it ended because it wasn't practical-LDR, and he wasn't ready-although, I think he would deny it, to affirm his commitment to me. I felt it ended rather messy, despite the fact that we have such a wonderful and effortless connection. I am still recovering from the breakup, as it really rocked my ****ing world. I feel like that relationship was left unfinished( you know cause some relationship have an expiration date?), and now I just feel really turned off to committed relationships. I am less attracted to being in one but still hopeful.
