So I talked to her. Yep, you can guess the outcome!

Yup, that's way too much.

You scared her off.

Can you tell how what you said and what I said are different? How a girl might interpret them?

I dont see a big difference. All I said is I wanted to take her to lunch so I could talk to her more. She started talking to me more after that though so she must like talking to me.

One goal you are either a hilarious troll or a complete sperging manbaby.

This girl doesn't want to hang out with you as friends and she most certainly does not want to date your creepy ass.

DANGEROUS advice to give this guy. Have you READ his other threads?

Really, really agree. This is TERRIBLE advice, and I'm truly sorry you posted it. He's going to run with it.

He has had action taken against him already for stalking. He regularly takes his "interest" in women to a level where others have to intervene to get him to stop calling, showing up, and making various trouble. Many times.

He is NEVER going to have a woman accept him unless he can accept that no means no, the FIRST TIME. One goal lacks all the social tools that would be needed to "win her over."

Like a few others, he needs to do something about his own serious issues in order to become dateable. So far, in thousands of threads, he has never approached this.

Poor girl.

Again, since he doesn't pick up on social cues and charges at obviously inappropriate women despite their discomfort and all advice from LSers, I think this is a HORRIBLE thing to say. He's a bit of a stalker, not a passively-sweet shy guy - so don't give that find-your-balls pep talk.

If I dont get a good grade maybe I should drop the class then since the way u guys make it sound shes totally creeped by me. Im tired of this. Even single girls say no when I thought I did everything right still didnt work. Why does she talk to me so much then?

she's probably scared of you and possibly feels a little sorry for you. Comedy option, she's afraid she'll wake up one day and you'll be at the foot of her bed wearing her face.

Could be because she's a nice person, because she's bored, or what RR said. Her still talking to you isn't really a big deal. And if you're tired of it, stop obsessing and trying to find a reason why a girl didn't want to go out with you. Single women reject guys everyday. You're not the first or the last.

I always get rejected though. That is the problem. I finally found one who is single, and she doesn't want to be in a relationship. Why did she just consider going out to eat a date for?

Solution: find more single women. They're out there.

As for your last bit--um, you're kidding, right? It clearly would've been a date, dude. If she went out to eat with you and later told you she didn't want anything other than friendship, you'd come back and ask everyone why would she accept to go out if she didn't want anything besides friendship.

You just gotta let it go and stop questioning why she did what she did.

How many people have you asked out this year? If you've only asked out two then that right there is probably your problem.

But that OP doesn't consider lunch a date.

You can spin it any way you want, but the fact of the matter is that she's simply not into you. And there's nothing you can do about it. Why continue questioning it when you can't do anything to change her mind? Not trying to be mean, but it just sounds like you're not understanding.

OG..... she already said that right now she doesn't want a relationship. When she said that she set her boundaries. She wants nothing more than a platonic relationship.

I understand. Still why would simply be going out to lunch considered a relationship?

The way you asked her strongly implied that you were looking for a relationship.

She picked up on the fact that a relationship is what you were after. Asking a girl that you barely know out to coffee, or lunch screams "date". It's par for the course.

Well everyone on here told me to ask her. How else was I supposed to then?

And a lot of people on here gave you credit for that. Now, almost everyone is telling you to move on, so why aren't you doing that?

You did well One Goal. It's just that she wasn't ready for a relationship.

I can understand that part. Is there any chance in the future though she could change her mind? At the end of the semester a month from now how should I go about it then if I want to see if she wants to go do something?

You don't. That's how. You'll just receive the same answer.

Of course there's a chance she can change her mind. A very, very small chance.

Since she will be going back to school on the other side of the state would it be possible she would go out just to be friendly since I probably wont see her again?

Yes, it's possible.

The question is: why would you want to have a "friendly" outing with a woman when you know you clearly want more from her? Be honest.

Because I'm friendly, I like her. But really I do like her though, and at least it is interaction with an attractive female.

You say it's possible. Would it be best this time to ask it in person though the last day of class?

Because I'm friendly, I like her.

You say you are friendly, and that you like her.

Does this mean that you want her to feel comfortable around you?

Would you want to avoid behaving in a way that would make her uncomfortable?
