bslchump
I've been feeling quite a bit better lately, but for the past few weeks I've had dreams about her EVERY night. I just woke up from a particularly nasty one where I was snooping and found she was cheating on me. This is an awful thing to wake up to and has been setting the tone for the whole day. When I don't dream about her, I can usually enjoy my day and be productive. Anybody else had this problem? I try to read and watch videos right before bed so my mind is filled with other thoughts, but it's not helping anymore.
OhMittens
I have them as well, it's natural. The way to beat it is to remind yourself of why the relationship ended when you wake up. Also try to focus on the things that you were not happy with and are better off without (and that is a battle of its own as I at least start to rationalize things and try to make things look better than they were). I long for the day when I wake up and shes the not the first thing on my mind and I could go a whole day without thinking about her
Cassandra92
Ugh, I know this. After the break up, I would dream of him every night, it was the cruellest thing. And they wouldn't always be bad dreams, sometimes they would be happy and then I would have to wake up and remind myself that everything was different now. Sometimes the dreams would even be sexual, which was horrible. I wish we could choose what we dream about.
Mnesic
When you’re dreaming with a broken heart The waking up is the hardest part You roll outta bed and down on your knees And for the moment you can hardly breathe Wondering was she really here? Is she standing in my room? No she’s not, ‘cause she’s gone, gone, gone, gone, gone…. When you’re dreaming with a broken heart The giving up is the hardest part She takes you in with your crying eyes Then all at once you have to say goodbye Wondering could you stay my love? Will you wake up by my side? No she can’t, ‘cause she’s gone, gone, gone, gone, gone…. Now do i have to fall asleep with roses in my hand Do I have to fall asleep with roses in my hand? Do I have to fall asleep with roses in my hand? Do I have to fall asleep with roses in my hand? Baby won’t you get them if i did? No you won’t, ‘cause you’re gone, gone, gone, gone, gone…. When you’re dreaming with a broken heart The waking up is the hardest part ^^ tell me that isn't the way you feel..
