Dammit!

Over 2 months NC and I stupidly send the ex a message on FB, and now so regret it!!!

It was nothing major - just a note about some work that I thought she may be interested in. But re-reading it after sending it, it just sounds so sad - like I'm, I dunno, using any excuse to contact her. Not that I am, I mean, I turned down her friend request a month ago.

I just hate making those simply stupid dumba** mistakes that I constantly warn others against doing.

For info, she didn't reply - not even a thank you (it could be good work). I know she still wants my friendship (but sadly nothing else) so maybe she thought that's what my message was going to say...

I hate regrets, yet seem to keep going out of my to create them!

Things like that happen all the time. I once text-ed a guy saying saying some really stupid stuff which I regretted immediately right after I sent it.

It's almost like buyers guilt, where you really want something so you get it only to have those feelings of 'did I really want that' right afterwards. It is so annoying.

I guess though if we didn't do these things we'd end up with the same feeling of regret for not doing them...
