zengirl
There seems to be some sort of widespread confusion (I've seen so many lately) on what constitutes a date lately on these boards. My definitions: A Date: is pre-planned, is not in the middle of the night (unless you both work some really weird third-shift schedule or something), is going out or staying in together in some kind of fashion where there is a basic activity involved, ability to talk and get to know one another, and less focus on the physicality. If a guy texts you from the club and asks you to meet him, it's not a date. If a guy texts you at 10:30 and you invite him to walk you home and come up, that's not a date. That is a booty call. (Not sleeping with someone does not make a booty call any less of a booty call. You cannot turn a booty call into a date.) Anyone have any other defining "date" characteristics to add? Think I'm wrong?
