I messed up on a Job call. Said "I don't remmber you"

And they called me after like a month of having applied. So i wasn't expecting it, so i am kind of slow so i said "I don't remember" when they said "we're....and you applied with us a couple of weeks ago"

 

so i said "i don't remember" and then we hang up and that was the end of it.

 

And they were gonna hire me cause they also called my temp company owner( I call her sometimes and she told me they called her and she gave a good reference)

 

JUst to make it clear, it's a VOLUNTEER job. but at least it was something.

 

I think i just messed up this chance.

Although, today i finally figured out who it was that called me so i called back and left a message. The receptionist said she would tell her boss and they would call me back on monday.

 

But i don't know. maybe they will think i'm stupid for messing up that call so they won't want to hireme.
