Leave married people alone!

Recommended Posts

Well isn't it ironic? I find it sooooo ironic that so many people think they're in love. And this person they are in love with just happens to work with them. And happens to be married too. Oh but he/she is the love of my life, he/she is *the one*. Can't you see that you let the physical aspects over come you? Can't you get off yourself just enough to realize that if it were true love, it probably would've worked out better than what your faced with?

And to also realize that you think you love someone, you think you know someone but what you HAVE to realize is that you are not with that person 24/7. YOU DON'T KNOW how they really are. You see mostly their good and don't have to deal with their bad. Open your eyes and realize that it ain't love. What's the coincidence that all of these people think they are in love here? I'm so in love with him/her, we connect, blah blah blah. It's all out of convenience. Period. You really look at al of these posts and it makes you start to laugh your a$$ off. Get a life of your own and leave the married folks alone.

As a hidden lover of four years, my boss and I had an affair. It was a full blown relationship without some of the realities of daily living. We were so 'in love' and 'we connected'. It took me finding a real lover that wasn't HIDING being with me to realize how naive I've been. Open your eyes people. You are in a dead ended facade of a relationship. Go find a single man/woman. That's what you deserve. If you are in a relationship/marriage that sucks, then leave. No one deserves the treatment.

Now, open for slams here. =)

No slams, here.

You're absolutely correct. Asymmetric affairs--where one partner is married, and the other is not--are inherently unstable, unfair and uncool. The only person who makes out is the married lover: the single lover is strung along and kept in the closet and only taken out when needed, and the innocent spouse is betrayed.

These asymmetric relationships truly suck, and almost always end with much, much unhappiness, bitterness and recriminations.
