And very late at night, and in the morning light...

Must confess:

I've taken this... ridiculousness too much to heart. Been alone now for over 200 days... over 100 of that was waiting... less than 100 was also waiting and both were exercises in futility. Futility of hope. Beginning to scab over well now, harden and the milkteeth become fangs once again.

That is how you survived the war:

and

you

never

stop

until

you

die.

Sleep doesn't come easy tonight.

Late night radio DJ. Such a cool job, don't you think? Your radio show would be for lonely and broken hearts.

Or maybe you could become the Loveshack DJ, since you have such interesting taste in music. Awesome taste, actually.

Know what? After seeing the Weepies' songs you posted here, I was looking at concert listings, and saw they are going to be playing a concert in the major city area where I live. SPOOKY. :D

Here's a request: Bon Iver.

Thanks. :)

Grace: Thanks. I think most DJs have been replaced. Maybe a loveshack internet radio station?

I'm not familiar with Bon Iver... so I will familiarize. More recommendations are always appreciated.

Agreed. Most DJs have been replaced, but radio where I live is an exception, and amazing as that sounds, it's true. I listen to livestream all the time. We have amazing radio programming, and NPR radio affiliates. Most of the sterling radio stations are college stations, believe it or not, and the programming is second to none. I learn lots of new (and old) music that way.

I also love radio b/c it is so low-tech. As a history lover, what's yesterday's news to someone else, is new and interesting to me. I love anything retro and going against the grain. :)

I do like your scorekeeper posts, too. Man, you are very clever. Good things await you. No doubt about it. Next girl has to appreciate your humor, settle for nothing less. Gotta rock n roll. Later. :)

It'd be great to get one of those depression-era vacuum tube radios. I understand some companies make tubes especially for weirdos who collect that stuff. :p

Hard to believe that people were once inclined to huddle around a big box and basically listen to the president read them a bed-time story by firelight... or declare an unlimited national emergency. but whatever.

Get out of my head, get out of my heart. Leave me alone. I don't want to cry for you anymore. I don't want to feel like I've lost you. You left. You left, it was your choice, you made a decision and that decision was to go. And I don't want to pick up the pieces anymore. Damn you. When will you leave me? When will that ghost stop haunting me.

I will burn you out of me, and I don't care what parts of me have to die in the process.

something different.

I'm on fire tonight!

Ever notice the worse you feel, the better advice you give (and the more you forget about how much you hurt?)

This will likely change Grace's opinion of my taste in music:

Yes, it does change my opinion. For the better. Don't underestimate me. :)

And yes, giving advice and trying to help someone else does ease your own pain. Actually making good use of your breakup, and learning a thing or two about yourself, and about life? Helping someone else? Sounds, well, sort of preachy, but hey, it's the truth. So stick around. You're catching on. You're full of surprises. Awesome ones at that.

Good night -- Grace

Good job...

It does make you feel better about yourself and goes a long way in your healing as well.

I could not think of the word to use for this. Atonement was the word I found. This site has helped me learn and heal tremendously along with friends and my silly family!
