Mauschen Posted August 12, 2011 Share Posted August 12, 2011 So, even though we are in court to modify parenting time (I have asked for more parenting time due to neglect and abuse issues on my ex's side), my ex constantly asks me if he can have time with the kids on my parenting days for birthday parties, swimming, etc. Of course, I don't want to hand the kids over to him any more than I legally have to (he has been reported to child protection 5 times), but I also don't want to appear like I am not cooperative. What brought me here today was a request by him to take the kids next week to his friend's birthday party on one of my parenting days. It is not a party for a child, but for an adult, so I think it is just not relevant for the kids to attend. Any advice? Link to post Share on other sites
