McNaked Posted May 1, 2004 Share Posted May 1, 2004 My gf and I just broke up from a pretty serious relationship. We are still good friends (we both have the same friends). She is trying to branch out and meet new people (i think she is trying to branch out and meet "guys"). My ROOMmate is one of them. It is difficult to see them like this. I still feel MADLY in love with her. She sometimes shows affection towards me, and that REALLY excites me. But overall, she is very happier now that we have separated. It has been three weeks since we've broken up, and I only need to get through another week and "I won't have to see it anymore." I don't think I can make it. I have no other real friends other than Her, so I talk to her. But I think she talks to my roommate about all of this, and he leaks it to everyone. So I have no one to talk to. Am I stupid for still being in love with her? How do I minimize my love for her, so it doesn't hurt me when I see them together? Is this just "puppy love"? Is it just me with the "puppy love" or is it her or both of us? Do I need to stop caring for her or am I allowed to continue loving her the way that I do? Link to post Share on other sites

Any decent respectable woman wouldn't do something like that! I say you're better off without her and I wouldn't hesitate to let your room mate know it's ****ty that he is talking to her! I know it's hard to do because i am going through the exact same thing with my ex, but you have got to just let her be.
