Amen!!! I hope we are not on the rebound and therfore avoiding "love". I don't think we are. I just have more respect for my heart these days. I will not let someone mess with it just like that. I'm so happy for you!!!:bunny::bunny:

On the rebound??? Nah...I don't think so.....just don't want any hassle from a man anymore...Been married and divorced a couple of times.....I don't want and will NOT conform to a man ever AGAIN! Avoiding love? Maybe, but I don't really go anywhere to meet anyone....and I did online dating...SUCKS......so for right now I am alone and FINE with it....If it is meant to be that I meet someone....then so be it.......:)

Thanks Finding! :D

It is! I truly give thanks for that liberation as that was the first relationship/breakup that affected me so deeply. I however, grew so much and do not believe that I can be as heartbroken or so caught up with a mere mortal lol , in that way again as much of it was not based in reality and was all smoke and mirrors.

And yes it IS comforting to know you're not unique and alone in some crazy situation that no one else has experienced. In the throes of insanity it can seem offensive if it is pointed out that your "love" and "connection" may not be very magical afterall....but on the other hand as it wanes it is great to have people who can share with you, know what you've been through, compare notes and laugh and cry with about the whole thing. :)

That's the truth. It hurts like hell when you are in love and someone tells you that it won't work out. But I think deep inside we know how it will end. I know there are exceptions to the rule and that some MMs are in a really bad place and are trying to get out. However, in most cases, MMs and MWs are selfish and want to have their cake and eat it too. The funny thing is that many of them haven't analyzed their problems enough to admit this to themselves. But it doesn't matter. Too many people including the AP get hurt needlessly. So let's compare notes, laugh and cry, as you say. This is medicine for a broken heart.
