I think what you are out of touch with is the reality of the world around you. The world is not a happy shiny place.

 

I can tell you that at 20, I had my head on straight and I would have said NO to such an offer, it wouldn't have occurred to me to take it, and I would have been offended by the offer. Why? Because at 20, I knew myself well enough to make decisions for myself.

 

There are some young women at that age that would be intrigued by such an offer, willing to take an easy way out... Sorry you don't like that truth, but it doesn't make it any less true. If he asks this young woman and she says yes- so be it.

I'm not to evaluate, who is bad, but I do think, that people who treat her as helpless victim of some evil predator, are effectively insulting her intelligence.
