how to control or stop a trigger or reminder of something painful

I made a very similar thread, and it got erased, but what I feel or what worked for me was finding a solution to the root problem. Ask yourself, 'if I had the power, what action could I do that would make me feel better about what happened' Once you figure that out, then you need to take steps to make that happen.

See you cant make them memories go away if they still bother you that much. You need to find something that will make you feel better about the situation.
