Unemployed and Unemployeable. How can you be employeable?

I'm bright in stuff like art, light computing(dont' have high degrees but know a bit about many thigns), and just figuring out things.

 

But in this fast paced society they want talkers. and smooth social people.

 

The only jobs i can do are low pay office work like filing, scanning, and simple stuff like that but that kind of work is no longer exists. Usually they merge it with customer service so again, they want talkers.

 

There's no factory work in america anymore, as you know, this society has moved to a service type work society so everything is gonna be (or most) customer service.

 

I would do customer service but if they would let me do it my way. Excpet THEY DONT! If i speak slow, they would think i'm stupid.

 

The other day i called Mcdonald's, Pizza hut and a bunch of restaurants to see if they had jobs and they hanged up on me as i was slowly saying my question. You see they don't have patiencee in customer service jobs.

 

So what the ** am i supposed to do.

 

Moreover, no body wants to train you to speak. They assume everyone who's in their 20's, 30's is supposed to be a great speaker already.

Public speaking is a requirement. It is not just the hard skills you know that employers are looking for but the soft skills, example is talkers. Every employee must be able to handle the situation and choose their words wisely.

 

I suggest looking up right brain and left brain exercises. The right brain is artistic while the left brain is logical.
