I met a good school friend who broke up with her bf, and on my last night before going back to uni, i initiated a great kiss with her. Ladies, i would appreciate your insight, thanks. It depends...on her, on you, on the circumstances (drinking/dancing???), and maybe even on the kiss! She may havbe thought of nothing else since then...or she may have forgotten it 20 minutes later. She may be planning the wedding already...or she may be focussed on her schoolwork. The best way to find out is to talk to her and/or kiss her again. I'm afraid that a stranger on another continent is not going to know what's going on in her head. She may even be wondering what it meant to you, so you should definitely consider calling her or seeing her and letting her know at least part of what you're feeling. Author DotMasta Posted May 6, 2004 Author Share Posted May 6, 2004 Okiedokie, you asked for it, the whole story. I'll try to keep it simple. Let's call the girl Vanessa, and her ex-boyfriend Joe. Joe was (hopefully still is) a good friend of mine, as was Vanessa. Three years ago, while we were all in school (in the same grade) Joe and Vanessa got together, and they were a great couple. Skip to about 4 weeks ago. Just about everybody from my grade is back in Vienna (Austria, Europe) for their university easter vacation. I found out that they were no longer together, and I've always been attracted to Vanessa and as far as i can tell she's been interested in me too. At a house party i'm throwing she asks me while we're talking whether i have a girlfriend at university, i reply no. On my last night in Vienna lots of people go out to celebrate two friends' birthdays, Vanessa is the only girl, there are about 7-8 guys. By the end of the night it's as clear as day to me Vanessa is seriously interested (while talking to me she strokes my face). As we leave the last club to all go home, the birthday boy realises he's lost his wallet, so long story short it's just me and Vanessa outside. After some harmless chatting i lean in slowly to kiss her, it quickly develops to a sweet french kiss. It lasts for quite a while, and as we move apart the other people are coming back out. We act as if nothing had happened, and everybody decides to go home, so i say my goodbyes, split from the group and walk home. OK, that's the story of the kiss, quite simplified. Now there's quite a bit of info i've left out, but i think it doesn't affect the story too much and would just complicate matters. A couple of days later I talked to Vanessa on msn, but somehow we avoided a "talk" so i don't know where i stand. However, she was very interested in a rumour she'd heard that i had gotten closer to another female school friend. (Jealousy? or just general interest?) Even though we are at different universities we're only about half an hour apart. Well anyways, i've probably confused you all by now, sorry bout that. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Just take it as it comes and see were your heart leads you... Ya know? Im sure you and her could meet up somewere and have a wonderful nite...
