jenny100 Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 i really hate running into him because everytime i run into him in the hallway he passes by me and says i hope you rot. the reason why we broke up was because he always used to verbally abuse me. i always ignored him but now i am going to lose it. should i keep on ignoring him? Or you could punch him in his solar plexus very hard. To find the solar plexus, find the bottom of your ribcage, right where the two sides meet in the front. Now go down about a half inch and punch yourself there at a slight downward angle. Not very hard. Didn't feel good? Now do it to him, much harder. Jenny, I went through a similar situation when I was in high school, except he AND his friends would yell at me and whisper/laugh. And, it is not surprising that your ex is saying things like 'I hope you rot' since he was verbally abusive when you were together. This is not a guy that will treat any girl well. How long has it been since you split? In my opinion, guys like him will find someone else to focus their anger on. Hold your head high and keep walking on. You are the better person here and you will make it through. If it escalates to him harming you physically or making serious threats, then tell a teacher or guidance counselor.
