And I agree, it is odd that he would start seeing someone so soon when he's the one who broke up with you and needed to figure things out.

Makes me wonder if he's testing himself to see if he could get along without you (i.e. if seeing someone else would change how he felt about you.)

You see he has some emotional issues stemming from his dad committing suicide in front of him when he was fifteen that he has never dealt with. So, if there has ever been a problem in our relationship he never wants to talk about it and work it out. Where as if I have a problem I am going to put on the table and get it fixed. So, who knows? Do you mean like making him realize that we are meant to be together or not? I'm sorry I guess I don't understand what you mean. Please explain.

Yes, that's what I meant - that he's trying to see if you guys were meant to be together. But maybe not. Now that I think about it, it's just weird that he left you cause he has avoidance issues but yet is with another girl. Maybe next time you talk to him you could question him as to whether he was leaving you specifically, or just *a* relationship in general.

 

I know it hurts, believe me I've been there more times than I care to remember. I wish I could say something to make you feel better, but it will have to happen on its own. I hope he comes back to you if it's meant to be, and that he leaves this other girl alone eventually.

That's why I think he started seeing this girl already because, he wouldn't have to deal with the aftermath of our relationship. Doesn't have to think about how bad he hurt me. But, you can only avoid things for so long. Eventually, you have to be by yourself, you can only stay busy for so long. Thanks for your words of comfort.

Me and my girlfriend broke up its been months from now

and we have the same sentiments now she leave me also because

of another guy and the reason for her to broke up with me is far from its true reason

she broke up with me because of another guy and it hurts so much that until now i can still feel the pain, after our broke up she started to see this guy while i am out of town for vacation to ease the pain. and the sad part i learn about the third party from a friend. u know it hurts and i ve been crying all night for it. its alright at least ive found out before we end up to marriage. u see everything is Gods plans it hurt us a lot but we have to embrace the pain and it is nice to have that feeling because the next time u enter in to a relationship u know what to do>
