manderbug
m I was just wondering if you fellas could give me any indicators that a guy is interested in you (more than friendship.) I have a situation where I feel intense sparks with a co-worker, but am cautious in making a move as this could make for an uncomfortable work environment if he doesn't feel the same way. scottskerik1973
Ask him to go for some drinks or dinner. If you think thats to forward than try and sneak in a cheesy line like "I want to go to the movies and see ???? but I dont like going by myself (so and so) would you go with me? Trust me if he says yes then he is interested. To what degree thats for you to find out.
RetroMan
Is this a shy or confident guy? From my personal experience (being one), a shy guy will give little indication at all that he is interested. I have a similar situation at the moment in my workplace with a girl. Even though our personalities don't really match, we seem to just feel really at ease with each other and at a party last week, I'm almost certain she was coming-on to me (hugs, kisses on the cheek, squeezing my shoulder, grabbing my hips from behind, bought me a drink), but despite all that I stayed more or less icy-cold in that department. Shy blokes try everything in their power to hide their feelings, and it sometimes takes a lot to get them out.
RetroMan
...I should also clarify that I do fancy this girl that was flirting with me...just to give you more indication about how repressed a shy guy can be.
Author manderbug
Actually, The guy I am interested in at work did ask me out to dinner and a concert, but he didn't officially say, "Hey, you wanna go on a date?" or anything like that. It went fabulously, and he insisted on paying for everything. There was alot of positive body language, but no kiss. Do you think he is interested in me romantically given the circumstances? I really like him but don't want to get my hopes up. Guys, please let me know what you think. I need a male point of view. Is this scenario a indication of romantic interest, or would he have formally asked me on a date?
