ok this is seven. I feel sort of superficial writing this and it's not as if I have a checklist that I run by whenever I meet a guy but there are certain traits I notice make it really hard for me to find a guy attractive:

-Oddly proportioned in a really noticeable way (like short arms, tiny head, really short legs)

-balding/bald if he doesn't have a face that can pull it off; there's the rare guy who can like JP on the Bachelorette, but I really love a lush head of hair on a guy

-at all chubby/flabby/skinny fat

-recessive chin and/or neck chin merge thing when they turn to the side

-narrow, or tapered shoulders

-pencil neck

-shorter than 5'9" (I'm 5'6"/5'7" so 5'9"+ in heels)

This thread has already started to splinter, buy anyway.....DHT is derived from testosterone. There is a realtionship, though higher than normal DHT levels does not always necessarily mean high test, as there are other factors (ie levels of a key enzyme) involved. Many steriod users lose their hair, and DHT plays a important role when it comes to libido and secondary male characteristics.

I find that quite a few women associate baldness with lower masculinity.

If you're a thick neck going bald is no where near as bad than it is for the ectomorph dudes.

It's not a combination it's just DHT (a testosterone derivative)

You're not telling me anything I don't know about it deriving from testosterone.

The libido wasn't in question but whether libido correlates to your partner's sexual satisfaction.

Wanting sex more often doesn't have much correlation in wanting to satisfy your partner. That's based on character.

What's wrong with over 5' 10"? I greatly prefer tall women, long legs and features are rockin'. Most models are sought after for being over 5' 10" because it looks better aesthetically.

I always wonder what percentage of men discount tall women entirely, and if they do, is it because they feel insecure around them?

Nothing. It's just the end of the range of attractivness for me but I'd make exceptions on an individual basis of course. I just generally don't like that long long leg look. And I'm aloud.

Just curious, if you had to choose long long legs or short stubby legs, which would you pick and why?

1. Too fat/too skinny. Female physique with no tone and curves does nothing for me.

2. Small breasts/big fat breasts with no shape. Fake breasts also aren't so cool with me. Any cosmetic surgery is a turn off actually.

3. Solarium or spray on tan. Yuck, Yuck & more Yuck!

4. Short hair.

5. Body hair. I wax myself & it isn't as painful as made out to be. Especially on thin female body hair.. Stop whingeing!

I think I was pretty clear when I said I wax my body hair, that includes balls, underarms, whole lot.

For the record, I only expect a woman's pussy to be trimmed & not a huge bush. Doesn't have to be completely waxed.

Best to try another cheap shot.

So you're completely hairless? You don't feel feminine?

I am hairless and I don't feel feminine. Nothing wrong with it.

My turn-offs are:

1. Dressing like a slut, cleavage should be covered.

2. Greasy hair or hair that isn't looked after.

3. Big feet or bony feet.

4. Skinny.

5. Bad skin.

=x... I agree with you. Men without hair aren't physically attractive to me in the slightest. Suppose hairless could have been on my list (before messed up teeth even).

My cousin is the same way.. I was surprised when he told me the other night that he didn't find my friend attractive & specifically cited her legs being "too long." I thought long legs were pretty much universally attractive on females, but I guess it just goes to show everyone has different preferences! (I'm still jealous of my friend's legs though )

My list is probably pretty typical..

- Overweight

- Soft, even if he's lean (the skinny-fat syndrome)

- Frat-type guys

- Overly muscled guys

- Bad hygiene

Also I agree w/ the guys who said a low hip-to-waist ratio is unattractive on a woman! I find the "no waist" thing soooo unattractive! Lindsay Lohan and Kendra Wilkinson come to mind. Especially Kendra.. huge fake boobs, but absolutely NO curves anywhere else. Yuck.

-- Scarily skinny or grossly obese. I like a guy somewhere in the middle; even someone a bit chubby is attractive.

-- Overly muscled. A little definition in the arms and chest is HOT; arms that make you walk like a caveman are NOT.

-- Too tan

-- Long, scraggly hair.

-- Bad teeth (crooked, missing, yellowed)

-- Bad breath

-- Too short

-- Excessive tattoos/piercings

-- Unkempt looking (bad hygeine, body odor, sloppy clothes)

-- Disproportionate features. I agree with the poster who said if the head is too small compared to the body, pencil neck, etc. was a turn off; I agree!

-- Facial hair. YUCK. However, I've seen some guys who rock the goatee and look very hot.

-- Bad skin (a lot of acne or pockmarks)

-- Unibrow (although I haven't met too many guys with the unibrow. It's just plain distracting!)

well I have hair on my head and face but otherwise, yes, completely hairless.

Don't feel feminine. Feel comfortable actually, especially when playing sport.

It makes me sad to think of the people that are undesirable and have to live miserably because no one wants to be with them. Based on physical features.

what about the people that are undesireable and live miserably because of non-physical factors? I think they have it worse.

No @ss

Seriously overweight

Fake body parts

Overly tanned

Too many tattoos

Wow, women really going in on balding! I never thought it was that big of a deal but I guess that's why there's so much of an industry behind getting it back. Not a problem for me fortunately, but another thing has me worried... a couple of complaints about the soul patch! I like the look of it on me but I hope I haven't been being a fool these last couple of years. Cmon ladies, let's hear some support for the soul patch!

Regarding baldness, it's a modern phenomenon. Baldness did not exist in prehistoric men. I think men were a lot less stressed in those times and perhaps food has something to do with it too.

So I guess men have to try to remove stress from their lives and eat like cavemen. That doesn't necessarily mean lots of meat. Back in those times only 20% of a man's diet was meat, the other 80% were gathered fruits, vegetables, berries and nuts. Men did the hunting for meat, women did the gathering.

Problem is, when you put a piece of meat in your mouth these days, you're putting a lot of medication in your mouth. They feed animals so much food to make them grow, that they have to medicate them in order to keep them alive. That medication is what you ingest too when you eat the meat of those animals, even though you don't need that medication, that also is bound to have some effects on humans.

Then there's fine dust in the air created by cars and factories. Also tap water isn't entirely clean. The filters in the water treatment plants can't filter estrogen (female hormone) out of the water for example, so men who drink tap water ingest female hormone, causing all sorts of problems like man-boobs and in some nations they also add Fluoride to the tap water, for dental reasons they say, but from a chemical perspective Fluoride is a level 4 toxin, it is highly damaging to humans. That's why it says on your toothpaste not to swallow the toothpaste. Yet they put it in the f*cking tap water in some countries.

Prehistoric men also had much shorter lifespans... If you were in your 30s you were considered ancient.

EnigmaticClarity
I'm 5'6'' the average height of women in my country.

So I'm pretty fair in wanting the average height in a guy after all I'm only wanting what I have.

If you were 5' 10", do you think you'd hold out for someone who was 6' 2" or taller? Is it that they need to be at least a few inches taller than you, or is it that just need to not be below the average because then they become a runt of an apple?

If I was 5'10'' I'd date a 5'10'' guy because it'd be unlikely to get a guy above 6' so dating average would be my best short.

Or I'd move to a different country so I can get a 6'2'' guy.

Hmm...I'm leaning more to moving.
