cerridwen
Went out tonight with my buddies...a ton of people at the bar...a ton of young hot girls. Not one glance.Ughhhhh what do I do? I should move to the south where country girls have lower standards for lesser looking men. Neh. Just think of all the logistics involved. What did you wear and how did you have your hair? In other words, what didn't work for you in terms of styling tonight. Also, what's with girls thinking you're a creeper? "Creeper" implies creepy behavior. Any idea what they're talking about? BTW, I'm somewhat rethinking you cutting your hair short. It looked good with product in it.

Author mike1988
They use the word out of context. It's really hard to explain. If a girl who has known me says that, and I ask why, her reply is that I come across older and have dated women older than myself. They even look down upon the notion of me dating a 19, 20 year old girl. To them, you date the EXACT age you are, which for any guy who is 23 is very, very difficult. I've been with older women numerous times, yet these younger girls almost look at me and assume I'm a virgin, which I've even been asked by some of them. I'm actually anything but a virgin, but the fact that they think this shows that the whole high school-dating "Varsity Blues" things for jocks and bad boys that typically fades is fading a lot later in age of girls than it used to. But yeah, they use the word out of context. It's hard having a conversation with a girl my age when she might not even know what words I say actually mean. They can say, "Do anything last night" and I can say, "went to see some Improv" and they say, "I don't know what that means." It's mind-numbing.
threebyfate
OP, if you want to date girls your age or younger, you're going to have to learn more about pop culture, what's cool, what's not. Two places to do so would probably be facebook and twitter. From the sounds of it, it's not that you come across as creepy but as kind of "nerdy" hence the assumption of virginity. Is this less about wanting to attract girls you find attractive within your age category or more about the ego thing, where it bothers you that you're having problems attracting girls who you don't appear to respect? To add to this, your perception of the "older women" you've dated, also doesn't appear to be very respectful, like you don't view them as being worthwhile people to "get". Eddie Edirol
Mike, if you dont want to date older women, you dont listen to older women. Their standards are a lil looser than the girls youre looking to date, (in the places that youre looking to pick them up). The young girls want to see that youre somewhat fashion concious. Get shirts that fit better, a lil more to the form. if youre going to keep going to bars and clubs, look at what the guys your age dress in there, and buy THAT stuff. The girls your age are A LOT more superficial. Dress is one of their standards that is a strong one at this age. Actually I'll rephrase: its a standard for girls your age that have choices, the ones that dont have choices dont care as much, but you most likely wont be attracted to them... So for now, since you cant gain muscles overnight, slick back the hair, wear the aviators, and learn to be more stylish with your clothes. Maybe consider a workout to gain some muscle tone. You have the height, and youre at the age where you'll gain the muscle eating anything you want.

So for now, since you cant gain muscles overnight, slick back the hair, wear the aviators, and learn to be more stylish with your clothes. Maybe consider a workout to gain some muscle tone. You have the height, and youre at the age where you'll gain the muscle eating anything you want. Incredibly superficial. A girl once thought I was 30 years old, which was 12 years older than her and 7 years older than my actual age and she said, "I saw your watch and figured you were older." So because I wear a $7 silver-link watch band that replaced the crappy falling apart leather band I had...I'm almost a decade older than I am? It's ridiculous. To be honest, I don't want the younger girls anyways. All they do is text message pics of themselves in underwear, you might get them down to their bra after seven months of dating. I prefer women who get turned on by my styles and the fact that I am mature and as others have told me "am old school" and have "culture". Does that mean I will be married and/or have hot sex? No. It won't happen. I'll never have the super-hot girls in bed or at the clubs and never meet a girl my age (who isn't already a mother anyways ) and start a family. It's been 10 months since my ex-girlfriend and I ended it, and it's been six months since I ever hooked up with a girl. (Ironically, my last was my youngest, 22, but she wasn't that attractive at all, and I guess I was desperate. Needless to say, the sex sucked too.) What I can't understand is when an 18 year old girl falls hard for a guy who treats them badly, doesn't call, even gets arrested before their eyes....but oh yeah...I'm the creeper...right? It's insane. Never did drugs, never been arrested, tall, clean cut...yet the guys who look like sewer rats in hoodies with piercings that look disgusting to come within 2 feet of get wildly ridden every night by these girls. That's why I have no sympathy what-so-ever for single moms who suddenly want the "nice guys". Guess what? I ain't so nice now when I tell them they reap what they sow and deserve all the pain they get for being so superficial and dumb. Oh and BTW, I actually did modeling from 1998-2000. I was around women in pantyhose measuring me for tuxedos for photoshoots while other kids my age were watching Power Rangers and playing softball. Perhaps that's why I am the way I am. I wonder...do I fit the "New York" style to attract women, the Southern/Country style, or the L.A. style best? I guess perhaps I do look older...this pic is from 2009 and I look older than 21 for sure... http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/318565_10150793579995061_503070060_20653425_7115694_n.jpg Edited September 5, 2011 by mike1988
