Author betterdeal
Poor old bears all 'round. I need to sort this heating out. I found the thermostat and it was set to 40C / 104F which explained why we wilted when it was on. So I set it to 19C / 67F and it's been behaving better (and the thermostat is in the kitchen which is drafty so rest of house is warmer than what it's set to) BUT I have the timer on the boiler off in the wee small hours (why heat the whole house when we're all asleep?) but it got too cold tonight, hence waking at 4am and not getting back to sleep. I could get a longer bed and another blanket. Or bed socks. Do they make bed socks?

ptp
You figured correctly. Rather than post while riled up, I just verbally respond (sometimes a blue streak), thus getting it out of my system AND staying out of Tony's handcuffs. Try it! Hey. I thought of you the other day because of the Madden Turducken video. Madden impersonations kill me everytime. :laugh:I am surprised anybody even got the Turducken video. But the reason I thought of you was because someone quoted his saying of "That guy's all hardware and no software." Wait. That didn't come out right. I'm not saying YOU'RE all hardware and no software. I'm saying Madden made me think of you. Anyway, sorry about your Bears. Hey all that matters is that you are thinking about me . Author betterdeal
Ross, mate, I would, but I feel one more move is needed before I settle down and have the time and space to do it. Saw my ex in the boozer tonight (saw across the boozer, avoided like the plague) and had the heeby jeebies as a result. I can't be living in a town with that sort of underlying worry. Besides. I hear Barcelona calling louder and louder...

Ross MwcFan
Hello Ross. Happy Belated Birthday. What's a MKII ESCORT? Hey Dorie, where have you been? Here is a MKII Escort, I remember them from my childhood in the 80's, http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/uploads/cars/ford/2435697.jpg

Trouble is I can't really think of anywhere that I'd like, apart from somewhere near the beach. The beach is a good idea. Find the right town for you, and set your sights on it. I was always a Cortina Mk 4 man myself. Gotta love rear wheel drive saloons.

Gotta love rear wheel drive saloons. Yup, I love the MK4 and MK5 Cortina's too, even more than the MKII Escort. We had several MK4 and MK5 Cortina estates throughout the late 80's and early 90's. Here's a pic of one that we owned back in 1990, As for the beach, I like the idea of living in Rhyl or Prestatyn in Wales. But I think English people are hated by a lot of the Welsh. Author betterdeal
Nice wheels. Stick a twin weber carb and a manual choke in it and Bob's your auntie's live in lover! How about Exeter? Fewer Welsh (which is an Old English word for foreigner) and pretty chilled.
