i was seeing this girl for a few months but she decided she wanted to be "just friends"

that was a few weeks ago and she has been acting really weird when ever we see each other.

to me that hasnt been a big deal and i have been trying to be friends even though i do like her and it hasnt been a prob for me. she on the other hand seems really uncomfortable.

what does all this mean? does thatmean she really feels like we should be more than friends?

One question before I go in depth. What is she doing that makes you feel this way?

hmm why do i think she is acting weird?

here are a few things that have changed:

she is never in any more and is always on the go, and she was more of a "homebody"type person

she would rather leave me notes saying stuff like "how you are doing ok" than call or talk in person

when we do see each other no eye contact what so ever on her part

lots of things like that...not sure if that helps or not.

I didnt think the whole lets be friends thing was a put on...was i wrong?

If these things changed in the opposing form then she is definately up to something. The whole let's be friends thing is definitely not the case but i wish I had some back-up on this.

This is not so good. Sounds like she's found herself somebody else and doesn't want to tell you.

I think many people (primarily the ones who end it) say "let's just be friends" because they think it's letting someone down easy. "See, I don't hate you or anything, let's just be friends.".

Maybe she said that to ease the break up but didn't really mean it and now she's uncomfortable when you're around and possibly feeling guilty(?).

those are some good ideas, but our relationship wasn’t anything serious so i dont see where the guilt would come from.

I had heard the “lest be friends” thing before but with her I really thought it was different. Almost like us being friends would be a step in a better direction for us in which the relationship would grow. Assuming that she is not seeing someone else, because I have no reason to doubt her, what comments would you guys have?

because I have no reason to doubt her

You mean other than

she is never in any more and is always on the go, and she was more of a "homebody"type person

she would rather leave me notes saying stuff like "how you are doing ok" than call or talk in person

when we do see each other no eye contact what so ever on her part

?

Because they are all but spelling out that she's busy doing something else - most likely with someone else.
