Should I ask him if he ever cheated on me when we were together or should I let it go? I certainly don't want to start things off on the wrong foot if I'm wrong, but if I am right, I don't know if I'd necessaruly get back with him. And what do you mean that you don't know if you would necessarily get back with him if he was cheating on you? Is there some kind of cheating that is more acceptable than others? That's my point: Do I confront him about it? And as far as not necessarily getting back together if he did cheat. I believe in 2nd chances, to a degree. I don't believe cheating is acceptable at all, yet I will not live my life by a set of unspoken rules regarding cheating. I believe people are human and they make mistakes.
