May go from Nice Parents House to Homeless shelter: How to improve after?

Recommended Posts

I may be going from parents house, nice and comfortable to a Homeless shelter. Welll it's not a homeless shelter but it's a place for people with disabilties and so i dont know. but i'm sure it will be a change of life.

But I want to have a good life..How do i change my life after and get back to a house or something.

To get good money for a house you have to have a good job and I have learning problems. The good jobs are computer and that kind of thing OR talking, those are the things that i have trouble with that's why for now i'm gonna get help cause i can't have a regular job cause i have learning problems.....

I dont know what to do here.

I would like to have my own place and later a GF and wife and marriage but if i'm unable to get a Regular Job becaues of my condition....the chances of my own place, and a GF etc are not very high.

i'm already in my 30's and so far have failed in life due to not been able to keep ajob because of the above mentioned.

I'm not super mentally disabled but the learning problem that i have creates a big problem so i can't function in regular jobs.

Hmm, it does sound like you're really disabled, if you're going to a home for mentally disabled people.

Oh, and by the way, those aren't homeless shelters. Live in a homeless shelter, and come back and post. Those are awful!

Maybe ask the staff at the place you're moving into about activities you can take part in. There may also be specialist services out there to help you learn how to live independently. And you may also meet a nice girl who has similar qualities to you whilst you are in your new home or whilst taking part in the activities.

I know a couple who both have learning difficulties and they are very happy together. It can happen for you too. Just enjoy the adventure of going to a new place and see what you can find that's fun and interesting for you to do.

I also know a couple with learning difficulties. Don't know where they met, but they're having a baby together.

You can't lose hope. You just can't!
