crocshock911 Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Hi! I am just starting my fifth year as a university undergraduate music composition major, the first week of the year is almost finished and there is this beautiful Freshman girl who plays the same instrument as me, and I think she is also interested in me (judging by the sideways glances). Since she is new to the university, I'm not sure if it would be right to ask her out (at least yet). I met her a few days before school started, because we had auditions on our instruments at nearby times. First of all, I don't know if being 4 1/2 years apart in age is weird or not, and second of all I don't want to make the adjustment into college more difficult for her. I don't know if she's interested in me or sees me as a welcoming upperclassman who greeted her on her first day. Thanks to becoming friends with her on Facebook, I know that we have a lot of similar interests, and in fact that is why I've become interested in her in such a short time. We only have one class together, and it is a class where we play our instruments together in a large group. I'm thinking about asking her if she would like to have tea with me sometime - would that impose wrongly on her because she is new to the school and I'm an upperclassman that just met her? She's a shy girl, and I really don't want to super impose on her. I wonder if I should at least wait until she is more used to the school, but I'm worried that by then she might have somebody else. What do the readers on here think? Your feedback is much appreciated! Quote
