Long story short, been "coupled" for 5 years but trying to break it off for the last 2, when I found out he was cheating in August of 2003. It is hardest for me because we have a 3 year old together. I tried dating someone else and he gave me such a hard time, I broke it off. Anyway, up until a month ago we were still slepping together ( I know, bad move) but then I found out he was seeing someone else. I waited for him to tell me and stopped the sleeping together. I finally had to ask and he said he had feelings for this girl and I blew up. I just want to get over him once and for all but have a Healthy relationship because of our child. I haven't spoke to him or had any contact with him for 2 weeks, which is somewhat hard because he lives with my mother and we have our child who I have custody of. I started going to counseling and trying to keep busy. Maybe this site can help with other suggestions. Link to post Share on other sites

You tried to make it work, remember that. If you were trying to break it off for 2 years now, and he cheated last August... make him an ex. And ex's are ex's for a reason. You will find someone to love you and your child. You are not the only one in this situation. Although you may feel it like. Better for this is happen now, than later.
