somedude81
I am a little bit of a dork and I admit it, I was the book nerd in highschool lol! Proud of it though cause I never once was doing dumb things like drugs and getting pregnant at 16. Exactly, nobody needs to be cool to have fun. I have thought about it but it takes SOO much less time to get ready in the morning because I have super thick and curly/wavy hair so it takes an hour off my old morning ritual. Plus it went to cancer wigs so I didn't mind and in the summer it weighs SOO much less! My friend recently cut her hair shorter as well. She told me the same thing that it's much less work in the morning. But it just looked so good long. I've never seen how you look but I get the impression that you looked hotter with long hair. I think it's a guy thing, we like how it looks but we don't care how much work you put into it. It did go to a good cause at least.
Els
Hey, I think that hairstyle is fine. Not all guys prefer long, some enjoy medium too. Admittedly it's a bit difficult to find men who prefer Emma Watson short, but yours isn't that short.

You guys don't care how much time it takes until you are waiting on a gf who is still doing her hair lol! My brother got some early education about how long it takes thanks to me when I was driving him to school and still busy straightening my long hair and was taking a long time lol! By the time I was in high school I had it down and could brush my teeth with one hand and curl my hair with the other lol!

I am not emotional over my hair but that short of hair would probably freak me out!

Guys need to learn that they can't have it both ways. Beauty takes time, a lot of it. Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Gwen Stefani and quite a few others have pulled off medium-short hairstyles very nicely. Even I hate when people take forever, one of my best friends cannot leave the house without full on makeup, and hair. I'm happy if I have on chapstick and mascara lol! Most days when I am working I don't have time to re-do my makeup so the less the better!
somedude81
Heh, I don't really care if it takes time. As long as she's not late it's OK. Though, I wonder if should start complimenting girls on their hair when we're on a date and it's long? Just to show that I appreciate the effort she put in.
Els
Trust me, you will eventually care when you are living together and you need to give her 1 hours' notice each time you want to go out. I guess that is part of the appeal for the bf and I, he likes that he can call me 5 minutes before he reaches home and I'll be ready to go by the time he's back, and vice versa. Different strokes for different folks, though! Complimenting is nice if you can do it in a non-awkward way. @Danielle: I only do lip balm most days.

I HATE when my friends borrow my makeup, I have a lot since I do most of my friends makeup for parties and what not helped me pay for books as a makeup artist lol, and they don't put it back!! I went to grab my EOS lip balm that look like little eggs and my friend put it on my dresser it fell off and rolled under my bed. Took me an hour to find the thing!

Dust
Short hair on girls is a turn off. Unless your old long hair will always look better.
AHardDaysNight
Short hair on girls is a turn off. Unless your old long hair will always look better. I dunno. Emma Watson and Natalie Portman both looked pretty cute sporting the short hair look. If you've got a pretty face, you'll look good, even with short hair.

chrissylee
Mine would be someone who hates animals and wants children. I never want kids and love animals so it just wouldn't work out if my SO felt different.

At one point I told my mom I would rather have puppies than babies cause they don't talk back, don't go to college, and stay adorable forever!

Author xoxoDaniellexoxo
I like that. I think I may have to tell my mom that, next time I get the, "When am I having grandkids?" talk. You are welcome!! Thankfully I am still 21 so my parents have another 10 years lol! And they have known since I was a teen I never really wanted to have kids til like 32 lol! My grandma though she was married at 21 had my uncle at 22, so she is all aboard the marriage and baby train, I however don't want to buy a ticket for at least ten years. It would not be a dealbreaker per se for me if he 'thought he might possibly want them in the future', but it probably would be if he unquestionably, unwaveringly required them. What would happen when I'm actually in a relationship with a girl and want to go out without giving her much notice. Now-awkward compliment? How about, you have pretty hair, can I smell it

How about, you have pretty hair, can I smell it Non-AWkward wouldl be something like "the way you did your hair tonight is beautiful" or if you hug her "your hair smells amazing" even something like "when the sun hits your hair it looks like gold or whatever other good word" those I would consider non-awkward I'd say the way it smells isn't awkward at all I have had random people stand next to me in lines say my hair smells amazing and I don't find it weird! After being around baby cousins forever I got sick and tired of babies, I love them but they drove me bananas! They look cute but when they get to be like 2-3 they can be plain evil!! My one cousin literally spit on my mom and laughed then slapped her across the face!!
