Thanks for the advice...but it is over..

Recommended Posts

I appreciate all advice that was given here. But nothing is going to change her mind. She said that this week has been the most non-stressful week she has had in a long time, and she did not want to go back to the way things were before. She originally IM'd me to ask me when I was going to come get the PC I had given her and her daughter, or should she have a "friend" do it. I told her I wanted her to keep it...but she said no...she would feel awkward. So, she called me to try to iron out the details of when I would come get it.

Unfortunately (and she knew I would do this) I pleaded my case...that I didn't want to lose my best friend. She said she was sorry, she couldn't give me another chance. I had hurt her one too many times... She said she will always love me, if I ever have an emergency I can call her...but as far as she was concerned the friendship was over. She said to continue the friendship was to put my feelings before hers. And she was not going to do that anymore.

So, it is finished.

I've read your posts off and on bro.

Erm.... it will really help if start by storing all the things lying around your room that reminds you of her, you know stuff she gave you.

You know you have tried your best and she just wants away, you cant force her, so stay cool for a long long time this time. Dont call. Dont contact her.

Surely she still cares for you deep down. Now it looks like she wants you to disappear but one day when you expect it least, who knows she might call you. could be years. Not asking you to wait, although she sounds worth it, you must keep yourself active and busy.

give her time to miss you, that's all i am saying. dont time her. leave her be and move on.

"giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! dont expect love in return, if it doesnt grow in their heart, be content it grew in yours"

She called back...after I woke her up this morning... and we talked again...but she seems pretty determined to stick to her guns. She feels like my tears are manipulation...but they are from real pain. I didn't sleep a wink last night...

She called my house while I was at a meeting for work, but she didn't leave a message.
